Review: Fantastic just make sure inspect all of it! - I've had the punching bag for years but never had the frame so finally got the frame. The bag has held up in storage no problem for a long time which I love and the frame wasn't to difficult to put together and I did it myself even though it says it takes two but I was too excited to wait for my husband's help plus he was at work...anyhow, my only dislike is when it arrived the box was pretty beat up and when I opened it some of the hardware screws where not there and it made me really nervous but on further searching taking everything out I was happy I found the rest of them. Then when i inspected each piece to make sure everything was there I noticed a part of the frame where it attached was bent in which I had to take a hammer to it to bend it back out otherwise it wouldn't fit together. All in all I'm happy with it and would recommend everlast to anyone. It is adjustable, by chain links. Your bag has a chain to hang it by. Adjust it to the height you want... or buy a longer chain to adjust the drop you want ;-) **Q: How big are the pegs for the weight plates? weight plates come in 1" and 2" size holes** A: The peg diameter is 1". I measured about 15/16 of an inch on mine. **Q: What are the two metal loops for on the left and right sides of the leg frames that touches the floor?** A: Some heavy bags have anchors at the bottom to limit their swing distance; those are especially useful with a stand like this where a wildly swinging bag could lead to tipping over. **Q: Does the stand keep the heavy bag in place or does it swing around freely with no anchor at the bottom? We want to use it for karate.** A: It seems to me that you're asking about the actual bag swinging around, not the whole stand with the bag on it, right? If so, you can buy a heavy bag anchor (usually a large bladder filled with water), attach it to the very bottom of (underneath) the bag and make sure it flattens out, like a pancake. Mine works great; bag swings very little and the stand is solid ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic just make sure inspect all of it! *by S***A on April 1, 2020* I've had the punching bag for years but never had the frame so finally got the frame. All in all I'm happy with it and would recommend everlast to anyone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and Reliable Stand for Serious Training *by J***Z on November 1, 2024* Pros: • Extremely sturdy construction supports heavy bags up to 100 pounds • Adjustable height accommodates different bag sizes for versatility • Includes 3 plate pegs for added stability, preventing tipping • Great for kickboxing, boxing, and MMA training in home gyms Cons: • Assembly can be a bit challenging without clear instructions • Requires weights for the plate pegs, which may not be included • Takes up a fair amount of space, so ensure you have enough room The Everlast Steel Heavy Punching Bag Stand is an excellent choice for anyone serious about their training. Its stability and strength make it perfect for various workout styles, making it a great addition to any home gym. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little rough around the edges but very sturdy *by G***L on October 16, 2020* ASSEMBLY It took some serious muscle to put together! The screw holes are not exactly precision cut and there are bound to be minute variations in the bends and welds of the tubing, so the holes don't always line up perfectly for assembly. It takes quite a bit of twisting and flexing force to align everything for assembly - probably a two-man job for most people. I also recommend using real tools for the job instead of the included throw-away flat wrench. But once the bolts are all tightened, the stand rests perfectly flat and feels rock solid, except for a few useless plastic tube-end inserts (one of which fell out after just 20 minutes on the speed bag). HEAVY BAG I hung a 100-pound bag on the stand hook without any problems. There is minimal rocking, rattling or movement of the stand even with kicking sessions. The weight posts on the stand can be a tripping hazard. I haven't needed to put on any extra weights to stabilize it, and I am actually thinking about taking them off. SPEED BAG The speed bag platform feels a little light but has stood up well to some lengthy speed bag sessions without any issues. Adjustment of the speed bag platform height is a snap. It comes with a cheap but functional swivel, which I am replacing with a $20 upgraded heavy duty swivel. But for beginners the included swivel will work fine! Overall, I am very happy with the finished product and value. ## Frequently Bought Together - Everlast Steel Framed Heavy Punching Bag and Speed Bag Stand with 3 Plate Pegs for Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts Training, Black - Meister SpeedKills Leather Speed Bag with Lightweight Latex Bladder - Everlast Speedbag - Boxing Training Swivel Speed Bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/1903256-everlast-2-station-heavy-bag-stand](https://www.desertcart.no/products/1903256-everlast-2-station-heavy-bag-stand) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
