So you get 100 pieces in total that will make 50 leveling spacers &the spanner... **Q: Can you use these in 20mm out door porcelain floor tiles?** A: Suitable for 3 mm to 16 mm thickness of the tile, but can be used with tiles up to 18 mm thickness. 20mm is beyond it's capacity, sorry. **Q: How are these removed after floor tile has set.** A: The trick is to remove them before the adhesive is fully set. Just before it is fully hard it is a bit crumbly and the screw can be released and the whole unit turned 90 degrees to revmove the leveller without disturbing the bulk of the adhesive. **Q: What is the largest grout gap/tile spacer that can be left with these?** A: I used a 4mm spacer between tiles and wouldn't have gone much larger. The 4mm allows for a bit of turning of the device, which tends to happen as they tighten. With a wider gap they would pull straight through. Points to watch are that with larger tiles these will not level the tile by themselves, the tiles need to be made reasonably level with a rubber mallet and then these will make the final small adjustment and fix the tile in place. Also need to be careful when tightening them, although they will move the toles slightly in a horizontal direction the screwing action can also move the tile sideways and care is needed to be sure that the gaps between the tiles is maintained. Final point is to take them out just before the adhesive has hardened up fully, if the adhesive is hardened then there is a high probability of the metal pin being broken rather than coming out. The tiles aren't going to move after about 3 hours anyway so this is not a major issue.
