**Q: Made of**
A: I believe it is made of a type of flexible, insulative plastic foam.  Will work fine on water pipes, gas lines...but I wouldn't use it on steam pipes.  I don't think it's extreme heat or flame resistant.

**Q: Are these really thin and are they bendable?**
A: No,they’re not really thin. And yes, they’re bendable. Maybe 1/2” thick

**Q: do these retain their shape if you are sitting on them (put around a 5 gallon bucket as a makeshift toilet seat)?**
A: I am sure it depends on how much weight and for how long you sit.  I would perhaps be more concerned as to how well they will stay in place as you "do your business".

**Q: Can these be used as protection over an iron bed to prevent my toddler from hitting his head?**
A: I made a fabric cover to prevent biting pieces off and it worked great!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok. Be aware of stickers on each tube and taking off tears the form a little.

Works as expected. My only complaint is that they put a sticker on each one and when taking off, it tore the form a little.
