Do I need to wear a pad with these?

Yes. Frida Mom's Disposable Boyshort Underwear holds a postpartum pad or liner securely in place but isn't absorbent on its own.

What size postpartum underwear should I get?

Petite fits a 23-34in waist, Medium and M/L fit 28-42in, and XL fits 42-64in stretched. Measure your waist as it is now, not your pre-pregnancy size, and size up if you're between sizes.

Is this better than hospital mesh underwear?

Frida Mom's boyshorts are made from a soft microfiber and spandex blend that feels like fabric instead of netting. They're breathable, mesh-free and latex-free, so they're gentle on sore, sensitive skin.

No, they're disposable. Each pack has 8 pairs, enough for the hospital stay and first days home. Consider more than one pack for the first two weeks.

Can I wear these after a C-section?

Yes, they can be worn after a C-section, or for more scar coverage you can opt for the C-Section Brief Underwear. It comes in packs of 8 in Petite (23-34in waist) and Regular (28-42in waist).
