Tama makes the best, Mic Stands.
I've been using Tama microphone stands for many years now and whenever I use something else, it's just not good enough. Compared to the Tama, other stands feel wobbly and flimsy and the hardware just feels subpar. All of the clamping hardware on the Tamas are very high quality and hold very well. This is by far my favorite microphone stand. Sure, they're a little more expensive, but they're well worth it in the long run and once you get used to the feel of these, you'll never want to go back to other brands.

Wel built and sturdy.
I play in a small group performing at assisted living homes and civic events. IMy old, cheap stand ws on its last legs (literally) and I replaced it with the TAMA 250. You can feel the quality and build quality when tightening and loosening the hardware and, in my opinion, is well worth the extra few bucks.

The best mic stand I have used hands down
It's really solidly built and can handle a lot of weight. It's expensive, yes, but it will last a while and isn't at risk of tipping over like the cheaper, lighter stands are. Would 100% recommend for any application where reliability and durability are a must, eg. in actual professional studios or larger home studios.

Stabil
