Game Color 72052 Silver (17ml)

Good coverage, Vallejo makes a really good product. Has quickly became my number one choice for paint. Well made and quick drying. Excellant coverage.

Very good product 👌🏽

Paint adhesion to primer pieces and primer is standard. Works well with primed pieces, the color quality is very very vibrant and still held vibrancy after being slightly thinned. The paint coverage is high. Just as expected from a brand of this stature. Overall great buy!

This fluoro green pops- glad to have it.

great product

I've recently used Vallejo's Game Color Fluorescent Violet paint, and I'm overall quite pleased with its performance. The color itself is vibrant, bold, and truly fluorescent—perfect for eye-catching highlights, fantasy miniatures, or any project that needs a pop of intense color. One important thing to note is that this paint is particularly thin in consistency. While this isn't necessarily a negative, it does make it much more suited for airbrushing rather than traditional hand-brushing. When airbrushed, it goes on evenly and smoothly, offering excellent coverage and no clogging. I didn't even thin it, just added a bit of retarder. For those who prefer hand-brushing, be prepared for multiple coats to achieve solid coverage. However, when properly layered, the fluorescent violet hue remains vibrant and striking. Overall, Vallejo Game Color Fluorescent Violet is an excellent choice for airbrush users looking for a vibrant, standout paint. It's a bit more challenging to use effectively with a brush, but its beautiful finish and brilliant color payoff make it worth the extra effort.

Great paint from a great company! Price is a little high because of shipping, but still, you're buying quality!

I love this stuff. Please note if your a first time user the color takes layers to build before it brightens up, but once it does it's great. Gonna buy the other Fluorescent paints to complete the set

The advertised image shows this as a bright yellow, it really is a bright mustard(y) yellow. Now what I was looking for but will keep it for future use anyway. I have uploaded a photo with the paint for a more realistic colour reference ( second from right ) and other colours for a comparison

This is a nice acrylic paint which easily washes out of brushes under running warm water... BUT, it is described as being terracotta in colour but is not. It is a rich and very dark reddish-brown. It's a nice colour, but if all of the terracotta flower pots in my shed are terracotta colour then this paint is unfortunately nowhere near it.

Lindo color

I’ve been using Vallejo acrylic paints for miniature painting for quite some time, and they consistently deliver excellent results. The paint has a smooth, creamy consistency straight from the bottle, making it easy to apply with both brushes and airbrushes. It provides great coverage in thin layers, which is ideal for building up colour gradually without obscuring fine details on miniatures. The pigmentation is rich and vibrant, producing crisp, clean colours that dry to a nice matte or satin finish depending on the range. They mix well on a wet palette, allowing for smooth blending, layering, and glazing techniques—perfect for both beginners and experienced hobbyists. One of Vallejo’s standout features is the dropper bottle design. It’s precise, reduces waste, and helps keep the paint fresh over time. The bottles are easy to shake, and the paint doesn’t separate excessively even after sitting for a while, which speaks to its quality. The range of colours is extensive, covering everything from natural tones and military shades to bright fantasy hues, metallics, washes, and mediums. The paints also clean up easily with water, which makes them very user-friendly. Overall, Vallejo acrylics are reliable, versatile, and professional-quality paints that are perfect for miniature painting, model kits, and hobby work. Whether you’re basecoating, highlighting, or blending, they offer excellent control and a beautiful finish every time.

Gemini said The Vallejo Game Color Fluorescent Violet is a unique and specialized pigment that adds a supernatural, neon quality to your miniatures that simply cannot be achieved with standard acrylics. This paint is specifically formulated to react under UV light, but even under normal conditions, it provides a vibrant, electric purple that is perfect for depicting magical energy, alien landscapes, or high-tech glowing components. Housed in the classic 18 ml dropper bottle, it allows for the precise, drop-by-drop dispensing needed for fine detail work, ensuring that you don't waste this potent pigment during a session. As with all fluorescent paints, the Violet is naturally translucent and has a lower opacity than traditional matte paints. To truly make the color "pop," it is best applied over a base of pure white or a very light lilac; if you attempt to use it over a dark primer, the color will essentially disappear. This transparency is actually a benefit for advanced painters, as it makes the paint an excellent choice for glazing and creating smooth OSL (Object Source Lighting) effects by layering it over light sources. The consistency is quite thin, so it flows exceptionally well through an airbrush with minimal thinning, providing a smooth and even coat that highlights the intricate details of a sculpt. One thing to keep in mind is that Fluorescent Violet can dry with a slightly tacky or satin finish compared to the flat matte of the standard Game Color range. To unify the look of your miniature, a quick coat of matte varnish is usually recommended once the paint has fully cured. Additionally, because the pigment and medium can separate more easily than in standard paints, you will need to give the bottle an extra-thorough shake—perhaps using a stainless steel mixing ball—to ensure the color is perfectly consistent. Despite these minor technical requirements, the sheer visual impact of this paint is undeniable, making it a fantastic addition for any hobbyist looking to add a "wow" factor to their models.
