Chuckit! Paraflight Max Glow

I grabbed the Chuckit! Paraflight disc because Thor my Mini Aussie is basically a frisbee and Jolly Ball addict, and the hard plastic ones were getting a little too rough on his mouth. I bought the regular size in October 2025, and we play with it nearly every day. It's his second favorite toy. (Jolly Ball still reigns). I’m always hunting for the gentlest toys that still fly well, and this one hit that sweet spot immediately, plus it floats too! It’s soft, super easy to throw, and it glides in this slow, floaty arc that gives him plenty of time to track it and actually catch it instead of face-planting. He latched onto it instantly and now drops it at my feet like it’s his life mission. We can play for 15 min straight with a few water breaks in between. The material feels gentle but surprisingly sturdy—he does his usual grab-and-shake routine after each catch like it's a prey and it hasn’t folded or warped. And I really love the blue color since dogs see blue, yellow, and white best; he locks onto it fast even in tall grass. Also, because it's so lightweight, my arm isn’t dying after ten minutes, which is a minor miracle with this dog. He gets worn out and somehow still hungry for more. Makes me laugh, makes him happy, and it's safe, so it's perfect! The only small thing is the orange stitching is already starting to come loose, but it seems more decorative than anything structural, so I’m not too bothered. The disc itself is holding up great. If you’ve got a fetch-obsessed dog and you want something gentle on the mouth but still fun to throw, this is such an easy win. My guy has basically made it his new favorite toy, specially when his jaw is tired of grabbing the Jolly Ball. Buy it! You will not regret. It's perfect for active dogs, herding breeds like the Australian Shepherd, Mini American Shepherd, Border Collie, Poodles, etc. Though he learns everything super fast when I teach/train him. I didn't have to teach him to fetch. It is ingrained in his DNA. 💙🐾

Our 15 week old mini Aussie loved this! It’s small, so check the measurements. Definitely a small dog or puppy toy. Flys great, and soft on their mouths. Not as durable as I thought. She managed to start shredding the stitching!

This is my second one of these, and my dog and I love it. Very durable and flies nicely when thrown.

My mini schnauzers have really enjoyed the small Chuckit Flying Disc. They were so excited to play with it that I figured I might as well go ahead and order a second one. Maybe I need a bigger one that's more durable since there are two of them? It's a good thing I did because they had the first one pretty turn up within a few weeks. I am happy with the product overall but it does not hold up as well as I was led to believe.

I have two big dogs - Winnie is a 61lb Texas blue heeler mix, and Devin is a 70lb chocolate lab/Chessie mix. This is the only toy Winnie will play with outside. I go through about 4-5 a year and don’t mind spending the money on them at all. She will chew at the sides at times, and it still flies well. I replace them when the flying gets floppy and it usually takes 3-4 months. She takes it everywhere we go - to dog parks, the beach - don’t let me toss it in the water - she dives after it and has the time of her life. It’s well worth the money and when I find them on sale under $10 I buy multiple at a time. Devin - only purses the blue ChuckIt ball. They never fight over one another’s preferred “baby”. They each love what they love and it makes it so easy when shopping and replacing them. Especially now, I am recovering from a major spinal surgery and not able to bend down to pick them up so I use my grabber tool and it’s just so perfect. We love these products and will happily continue to purchase them as many times as we need to. Thanks ChuckIt!

We got these on sale for less than $5. In fact, we bought 3. Not because we loved it, but because of the price. If you can get it at that price, I'd say it's a decent deal 5 stars. But if it is $15-16, it is not worth it, 2 or even 1 star. Here's why: The good: Our dog absolutely loves it. It flies well, and she can jump and catch it in the air when thrown correctly. It is probably her favorite toy. It is durable enough that it can withstand some chewing, but not a lot. My recommendation is to get 2 or 3 when they're on sale so you can throw one, have the dog retrieve it, and immediately throw the other when the dog comes back. That way you don't end up in a tug of war with it and it gets destroyed. The bad: It doesn't last chewing very well. We bought the first one and our dog destroyed it within a day. The edges got torn off, and the white plastic foam started falling out. I had to take the white foam out so she wouldn't accidentally eat it. We can still throw it somewhat without the foam, but it is not in good shape. We went ahead and bought a couple more while they cost less than $5, and make sure she doesn't play tug of war with it or doesn't chew it. But they absolutely will not last long if your dog loves chewing on soft, squishy toys (which I think is most dogs!).

We previously had a "Hyper Pet" soft disc that was becoming thread-bare and too a chance on the Chuckit! version based other great brand products. This is a HUGE upgrade! Went with the large disc of our lab mix that loves playing catch. We shifted to a soft option realizing that even softer frisbees that are intended for docs, they are still pretty hard on their teeth. The Chuckit! is larger and has a much better design around the perimeter where the Hyper Pet disk came apart. The added benefit is the canvass on the Chuckit! is much tighter, meaning the disc is MUCH more stable and not prone to the "ballooning" behavior of the Hyper Pet disc. Bailey loves it! The distance on it is perfect- she can run out a bit but doesn't have to sprint like crazy like a traditional frisbee, plus I can throw it much more consistently than the old Hyper Pet version. I am pretty adept at throwing a disc and would say this one will fly about 50 yards consistently on an easy controlled throw. I am sure it would easily fly double that with a good firm throw and it is easy for Bailey to track it in the air. Great value overall and may buy a couple more in case the neighbor pup steals it!

I love these frisbees for my dogs. They should be a little tougher though as we go through them fast. They are great for playing in the water. I recommend you make sure the tag is cut off as close as possible this will prevent the dogs from chewing there. Once the ribbing comes out you might as well throw away. They are light weight and easy to throw. My dogs love them.
