Push Back Recliner

Quality was better than expected, it looks amazing and sits WELL!!! I ordered 2 and gald I did, I was able to put both of them together in 30-45 minutes. Love the color, I purchased Nut Brown, it's beautiful.

This recliner is reasonably priced. The faux leather finish is smooth. Seams and stitching are tidy and sturdy. There is some assembly required, but is is very simple, takes but a minute and the instructions are clear. If you are looking for a sleek, modern alternative look to the standard overstuffed bulky chair, then this one might just be for you! The chair offers good back support and comfort -- no sagging into over-soft cushions., I especially like how easy it is to fold down the leg rest when it's time to get out of the chair -- my previous chair gave me a big fight to get out of it -- this chair only requires minimum effort and pressure to fold back down to the upright position. I do miss the arm storage compartment I had with my old chair, as this one has no such thing, but it is a small trade off for me, considering all the other features mentioned above. I am very happy with this purchase. P.S.: The chair shipped promptly, arrived quickly and was in great condition. The box will fit through a 31" doorway -- an essential for me, with the old farm house we have, with narrow doorways.

Easy to assemble, took about 10min. Nice quality. Fits in small spaces. Cushions are very firm.

I purchased this chair for my basement. I was looking for something with a classic look that wouldn't break the bank. I am RIDICULOUSLY IMPRESSED with this chair! It arrived much earlier than anticipated via Fed Ex. (I'm not impressed with Fed Ex who left it on my front lawn in the rain but that's another story.) It was shipped in one large box and very well packed. Assembly took less than 10 minutes. The material is soft and nicely distressed and doesn't feel "plastic-y" by any stretch of the imagination. I like that the seat cushion is attached so it's not sliding forward when you recline. Although this is a manual recliner, the function is smooth and requires minimal effort. The full reclining position is a very nice feature. The chair is sturdy and comfortable. I'm 5'10" and yes, my feet hang off the footrest but that was expected as the length is indicated in the description but not necessarily a feature I view as a drawback. This chair rivals the design of high end chairs but is extremely budget friendly. It suits my needs nicely for additional seating in my finished basement TV room.

Let's start with the fact that this was under $300 delivered to my home. No busted box or parts. Only one quality issue was a threaded rod on one front leg was cut poorly and had some burrs which would not allow it to thread in. A good file (or belt sander) took care of it. Leather has a nice distressed look. Seat cushion is firm but not objectionable. Low back cushion is very firm but seems to be relaxing a bit after one week. Reclines easily, but going back to full layback is all or nothing. The balance is such that you really can't use any position between reclined and fully back. But that's OK. An observation... My last recliner had a rocking feature. I wasn't sure if I would miss it or not. Not only do I not miss it, I will never waste my money on the rocking feature again. This is much easier to get out of. And I rarely rocked anyway. Overall, chair is surprisingly solid for the price point. Even the footrest displays little to no side sway or weakness. The seat cushion is longish at 28" even for me but workable. Wife is 5'8 and too long for her. At this price it will be a great spare guest chair if I upgrade. Only wish it had more overall softness especially on footrest (back of lower legs) and cushions but I would not consider returning it over that.

Update: The company responded via email, and like the other reviewer with this same issue of the metal cutting into the cushioning, they sent me another chair and left me to deal with the other one. The newest chair's problems: The backrest fell out from the metal framing within a few months. I had to figure out how to remove the bracket to access the striped threaded inserts into plywood, glue and hammer them in and re-inserted the bolts. It was a temporary fix. Every single bolt in this chair is loose. Now, 6 months in? When I recline the bolts in this chair are all loose. The manufacturer is too lazy to add a single dab of lock tight to anything. Now, I sit with the left side about to collapse from under me and the back rest swaying to the left while the foot plate sways to the right. F! Something else for me to attempt to fix. NEVER AGAIN BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! These chairs are TRASH! This is the 2nd time purchasing this chair to match it to the other one that was flawless. But this one is riddled with problems. 1st, The seat has filling coming out of the bottom where two cuts to the fabric have developed because the metal extending legs cut into the base of the seat when the chair is reclined. 2nd, whatever foam they used in this newer one is so much denser than the other one that my feet don't reach the ground fully when sitting in it. 3rd, they sent two of the same Right arms for the backrest instead of a pair of R & L arms. 4th, I emailed them last week from their website page and they have not responded to these issues. So now I've began a contact process via Amazon. If they do not then the chair will be returned without packaging since that was tossed when assembly happened. Thus the quality of this 2nd chair is far less than the chair I purchased about 18 months prior. I noticed another reviewer with pictures of the batting coming out exactly where I am having the same issue. Thus, this is a manufacturing defect on some of these chairs.

It’s decent. I mean there’s no mistaking it for actual leather. It was easy to put together. Seems sturdy, but the proportions seem off to me. I’m 5’6”, and my feet don’t touch the floor when I sit in it, but my head sticks up above the back of the chair whether sitting or reclined, so there’s no “pillow” effect if you’re above average height. But the armrests are high enough that I can’t really relax my shoulders with my arms on the armrests, it’s like sitting with my feet dangling and shoulders shrugged, if that makes sense. Kind of an awkward fit.

This is everything I expected. The fabric looks like distressed leather and feels like car seat leather...but it's fabric. I have a couch made of similar distressed leather fabric that still looks brand new after 8 years therefore I expect this recliner will look just as good in 8 years. While I did need a neighbor to help me get the box through the front door, I assembled it all by myself in 7 minutes (I'm a retired female). It took longer to open the box than it did to put it together. Screw on the 4 feet, slip the back into the seat, then slide the side trim bars along the back and get ready to recline. It is very comfortable. My personal feeling is that when in the non-recline position it leans too far back. However, a small throw pillow corrects that problem. Also, from seated to the first recline position took about 15 to 20 tries before it operated easily enough to do it without getting up and starting the recline by pulling on the footrest. Now it works perfectly. Given the price, I think this is an excellent purchase. It looks more expensive than the $229 I paid (Dec. 2024). It operates smoothly, fully reclines for sleeping, halfway reclines for comfortable TV viewing, knitting, reading, etc. And the upright position is also a good position for those activities as well as eating. The big surprise is that delivery was 1 week earlier than they stated!
