Review: Good Product. - Over all, this is a very good product. However, to cut to the chase, I prefer using an ultrasonic cleaner and a homemade UV curing chamber. Here are a few of the pros, cons, and reasons to back up my preferences. Pros: Simplicity (Two machines in one) Pretty good at washing parts (reason for "Pretty good" explained later) Amazing at curing parts (the UV LEDs are super powerful) Attention to safety (the lid is UV blocking and there is a safety switch that shuts down the machine if the lid is removed) Simple user interface Works with a pretty small amount of cleaning fluid (there is an included bracket that lowers the bed to the surface of the liquid) Cons: Price (see below for further detail) Can't use both the cleaning and curing features simultaneously In all, this is a very useful piece of equipment. However, let's go into further detail on a couple of the points made above. Let's start with my comment that it does a "Pretty good" job at cleaning. Though the cleaning system does a surprisingly decent job at removing excess resin from the surface of the prints, it lacks the penetrating capability of an ultrasonic cleaner. With an ultrasonic cleaner, the part gets cleaned inside and out. This is important because resin printers can't really print infill. This means that either you print with 100% infill (i.e. solid) or no infill (i.e. hollow). Because the ultrasonic cleaner uses, well, ultrasonic waves to clean, these waves can penetrate the walls of the print and clean the inside as well. And finally, let's talk price. Though this machine is pretty good at what it does, I don't think it is worth the $150 price tag (as is the price at the time of the writing of this review). I say this because of the all the other methods of doing the things this machine does (sometimes even better) but at a cheaper price. For example, I can get an ultrasonic cleaner (big enough to put the entire build plate into) for around $80 and a string of UV LEDs for $10. So, with a little DIY (to build the curing chamber) I can have equivalent capability for $60 less. In conclusion, this is an all around good machine. I believe that you can make something better, but, since this is the only all-in-one cure/wash station I can find, I would recommend it to anybody that doesn't want to mess with the DIY side.

I had a small background in FDM printers but was looking for higher definition with my prints. After some research I kept hearing about Anycubic being a big contender in the SLA space. I ended up purchasing the Mono X and the wash and cure station as well. The package showed up and upon opening it I first noticed how well the machines were packed. Everything came in perfect condition. The instructions were clear, bright, and very easy to understand. Both wash and cure station and the printer were both set up within a matter of minutes. I followed the instruction and I ready for my first test print. The print went flawlessly. It was a really great first experience in SLA. The test came out in a few hours and I immediately took advantage of the wash station. This was quickly and obviously money well spent. The print came out clean in just a few minutes and after a few more min of curing I was done. I couldn’t believe how simple it really was. The following day I decided to put the printer to the rest. I printed a full build plate of a highly detailed model and was blown away but how well the mono 4k screen captured the details. As a full time artist this new tool will change everything and will be instrumental in bringing my digital sculptures to life! I plan on doing a full and immersive review of both machines on my YouTube Channel which can be found at BogleArts on YT. I’m attaching pics of my printer set up, the prints I’ve made so far, and some tools I found to help make printing a little easier. The customer service with Anycubic also deserves to be mentioned. Between the customer service and the Mono X community online this is a particularly great printer choice for anyone looking to get into SLA printer to ready to step it up from a small printer to A medium sized machine with a 4k Mono Screen. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this unit required to use with the anycubic 3d printers?**
A: no, it is not required. Just pay attention to the size of the bucket that came with this machine and make sure your 3d printed models are not larger than the bucket. You should be fine if you use any of those small size resin printers like Elegoo Mars, Mars Pro, Mars Pro 2, Phorzen sonic mini.....just to name a few.

**Q: Just purchased & love it. Can you keep the alcohol in the wash  bucket until it's time to clean/filter it out (keeping it away from sun/UV)?**
A: Well I did just this and didn’t print anything for a few months.   When I went back to use it, something in the bottom of the agitator had rusted and covered my print with mess.  I’m assuming a bearing seal maybe?  Either way I’m now trying to see if I can get just the bucket.

**Q: Mine spins the platform for a half second, stops, then starts constantly beeping. Anyone have this happen?**
A: I ended up putting my thumb over the sensor to see if that was the problem, and it turned on without the lid. With the lid on, just beeps. Cardboard up against the lid to reduce incoming light and it worked fine. Just seems like an over sensitive sensor. I'll probably tape something to the lid to increase the light it blocks.

**Q: Can you put the build plate from the anycubic photon mono x in it or do you need to take your work off the build plate and wash it separately?**
A: There are 2 stations now advertised, the PLUS size will accommodate the larger Mono X build plate. I have both the X and the Plus and they do work together fine. I was critical when I bought the previous wash station because it wouldn't fit the X, and that was the upgraded model only a couple months old at the time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This wash and cure station from ANYCUBIC will greatly enhance your workflow! Highly recomend!

I used to manually clean my resin prints in a plastic tub with alcohol and a toothbrush and cure them under a makeshift nail curing station. Needless to say it was a bit of a headache. Alcohol would spill all over the place and I'd constantly get it on my clothes, etc. With the new ANYCUBIC station, All I have to do is mount the build plate to the metal holder, drop it in the included plastic bin, set the timer and I'm free to walk away and do something else. The built in agitator does a good job of scouring the print and as a bonus cleans the build plate. I still give the print a once over with a brush for good measure but the cleaning process is vastly streamlined. Similarly, the curing process is very easy. Swap out the cleaning tank for the clear turntable base, set the timer and walk away. The direct lights from the side give me a little more confidence the print is getting good even exposure than the top down I was getting from my nail curing station. I'm also a little more trusting the UV light is in the correct spectrum than some of the nail curing stations. Things that could be improved: I wish it would default to wash mode instead of cure when you turn the machine on. I accidentally ran the cure mode and even though I caught it right away it was enough to cure some residual resin on the top of my build plate. Also it would be nice if the cure table had a small lip around the outside. I've had some prints walk off the edge while it was rotating during the cure. Long story short - Do not hesitate to buy this machine. So much easier and cleaner and convenient. It makes resin printing less of a chore.
