A great, savory sauce/salsa
I had Lizano sauce at Irazu restaurant in Chicago and I was hooked. This is true to the same recipe - a wonderful, savory blend of vegetables and spices. This is good on all kinds of meats and fish dishes. I like to use it as an alternative salsa with plantain chips.

You can't make gallo pinto without it
The title says it all. I like little more than chopped onions, rice, and black beans fried up in a pan served with a fried egg on top for breakfast but it's not gallo pinto without the salsa lisano. This is exactly the stuff I grew up with. It is the sabor tico.

Fell in love with this sauce on my visit to Costa Rica. Glad I was able to find it here.

Perfect condiment
We found this product in Costa Rica. We were thrilled to find available on Amazon. We use it on too many dishes to count, it is that good. It adds a subtle acidic pop, with a great flavor to your dishes. Highly recommend

Great on so many foods!
I bought this for gallo pinto and it was perfect for that. I now also use it in grain bowls and on fish or chicken. My family loves it! I bought a three bottle pack and thought I’d have trouble getting through it all, but I’m already almost done with the second bottle. I will buy this again.
