Pipe is, of course, metal. Tubing is plastic, nylon, rubber etc. **Q: The width is clear but how long are these items?** A: I have never used the 3/4 inch connectors. The 1/4 in connector is about 1 1/4 inch long. **Q: Can I use this to connect a hose from a dehumidifier pump? The one that came with it was compromised and the water won't leave to unit** A: I don’t see why not.
