**Q: What kind of assembly is needed? If**
A: Next to none, The lamp shade went on and the top screwed opn.  I did have to screw on the knob for the switch. That is all.

**Q: Does it come in a set?**
A: No. I purchased 2 lamps and they came in 2 separate boxes.

**Q: Is there felt or rubber feet on the bottom to protect furniture?**
A: No felt or rubber on base.

**Q: what color is cord?**
A: My cord is a "clear" material; no color in it. Nice lamp for the price.
