Fantastic Soup Mix
This makes such a great soup base for vegetarians or meat eaters. The balance of the beans, peas and lentils was so satisfying. I made a large batch. Then froze the rest in pre-portioned sizes.

Tasted better with additional ingredients
I added sautéd onion and some cubed ham. It was delicious. Not so delicious leftover . Not sure if I’ll buy it again. Maybe

Disappointed in this product, not fresh.
Seemed like it had expired? Old beans, not worth the money.

Go to mix for busy people.
Go to mix for busy people. I love this sentence! It’s got everything I love elite Hastings, barley, lentils, etc. are use it with any recipe that calls for beans. You can use it for a stormy day being said, split pea soup, 15 bean soup and any kind of recipe that you can dream up. Clean out the refrigerator and stick it in there. The quality is excellent. Just found out they have another version and I’m stocking up! It’s actually packaged so that you can seal it up. Never needed to do this and it disappears before my eyes.
