Can anyone tell me how it compares to Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. The price difference is huge but not worth it if not as spectacular as Skinceuticals.

I read somewhere that skinceuticals has a patent on the pH of their active L-ascorbic acid. The patented pH is 2.5-3.0, and so this serum has a pH in between 3.0-3.5 to prevent patent violations. According to the article, this means that the product with the higher pH will be slightly less exfoliating.info from https://www.futurederm.com/2012/02/15/are-other-vitamin-ce-serums-as-effective-as-skinceuticals-ce-ferulic-cosmetics-solutions-timeless-skinmedica/

It smells like vinegar. The smell is so strong that it makes my eyes water, and is nauseating. Is this normal?

It is not normal or I would say safe under any circumstances but it is normal for their serum. I saw two broken capillaries on my chin two days after its use and I literally threw away the bottle/ my 40$!!

Hi, I've ordered this item twice - the first time the serum was a little darker in color and the 2nd time it's clear. Has the formula changed?

Hi, the Serum 20 is clear than the C+E. all the time that i ordered the C+E, the color was the same :)
