I'm taking a landscaping class which requires quite a bit of architectural lettering. This Lettering Guide & Rule Template makes life and writing so much easier. I can write on level strait lines and these lines can be evenly spaced. It also provides a straight vertical light that I can use in my strait edge vertical stroke lettering.

I have been advised to get the better ones as opposed to this since the circle tends to get loose over time and you will have to tape it to stay in place. So far no such issues. Does what it advertises. Slides often of the regular scale which are thin but i assume that will be thr case with all lettering guide with same mechanism. Solution use a thicker (wooden) scale or a book to slide it.
