So which is it? I'm confused if you look at the description at the very top** A: It is indeed a puzzlement why Amazon has not corrected the "IN THE BOX: 4-pack of AAA high-capacity rechargeable batteries (2400mAh)" in the text. That's clearly an error. The photo of an individual battery does clearly show "850 mAh". Anyone who knows much of anything about NiMH batteries knows that no 2400 mAh AAA exists, or at least I certainly don't know of any. I see that these same batteries in AA are 2400, and that's probably the source of the error. I wouldn't call if fraud or bait and switch, it's an error that's needed correction for some time. **Q: are these made in china or japan?** A: China, per the box and the battery itself. **Q: How long do these batteries last on a single charge?** A: These are 850 ma/h so take the power your device uses and divide into 850. So if you’re drawing 425 milliamperes it will last two hours. **Q: where are these made ?** A: Made in Malaysia ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics 4-Pack Rechargeable AAA NiMH High-Capacity Batteries, 850 mAh, Pre-Charged - Amazon Basics 4-Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH High-Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, Recharge up to 400x Times, Pre-Charged - Amazon Basics Rechargeable Battery Charger for AA & AAA Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) Batteries with USB Charging Port, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/181891129-amazon-basics-4-pack-rechargeable-aaa-nimh-high-capacity-batteries](https://www.desertcart.no/products/181891129-amazon-basics-4-pack-rechargeable-aaa-nimh-high-capacity-batteries) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
