However, I bought this as a gift for someone who is (the kind of person who has a display case for their shoes, has more Pinterest boards than I have pairs of socks, etc.) and it was a resounding success. Also this book is HUGE, high quality, comes sealed and is at the time of writing about 50% less than MSRP ($60) which I didn’t realize at the time of purchase. Very presentable as a gift, has tons of very cool high quality glossy photos, and would not be out of place sitting on a 3K Design Within Reach coffee table. So, for $30 presently it’s a steal. I think it’d still be a win at $60. Viability as a gift for the shoe-obsessed person in your life is excellent. I can’t comment on the content really as it’s outside my wheelhouse, but I’ll give it 5 stars as it was perfect for my needs.
