What flavor is it? My cat doesn't have diabetes but he is overweight, Thanks!** A: It is a Rx diet sold through Vet's offices or speciality pert shops for the management of feline diabetes. I would seriously ask your vet,which food would be best for your cat's weight issues. Lower calorie cat foods can work in a few ways by increasing insoluble fiber and simply reducing fat content or by reducing the carbohydrates in the food, decreasing the fat and increasing the protein. This food only comes in two forms 1) chunks/sauce and 2) pate. The flavor is unknown to me, all it lists is poultry by- products. Again I would ask my Vet or call Purina directly. 1800 879 1266.
