Hooked a continuity tester to it and it showed circut closed then set a magnet 1/8" in front still closed?** A: It needs a strong magnet for pick up. And will need to be closer then a 1/8". Much cheaper and easier to get also. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No instructions or magnet *by J***Y on April 17, 2023* Works great! It didn't come with instructions or a mate for the connector that is attached. One wire to ground or negative on the battery. The other wire is signal. There appears to be a magnet built into the unit and you need to mount a magnet (supplied by you) on the shaft. Also had to fabricate a mounting bracket.
