fun and educational!
The drawings are whimsical for kids to enjoy and there are actual paragraphs (not just words or one line) with interesting info about the animals. I expect my child will enjoy this book differently as he grows older.

book itself is VERY SMALL
Maybe I missed the book dimensions it is about 8x5 inches. Each page of the board book had facts about an animal written at the 2-3 grade reading level. there was no continuity between the different animals. I thought that a board book was going to be written at a kindergarten level.

VIBRANT
THERE IS NO GREAT STORY LINE IN THIS BOOK AS IT IS GEARED TOWARD THE PRE-SCHOOL AGE, BUT THE COLORS AND ILLUSTRATIONS ARE VIBRANT AND BEAUTIFUL. GREAT FOR THOSE LITTLE ONES WHO LOVE COLOR AND DETAIL.

Zoo Animals
This is a stunningly illustrated book which is informative and entertaining.Wildsmith is a very accomplished artist, I don't tire of looking at his artworkThe type face is also child sensitive as the sans-serif means the children can recognise it and practice their reading skills. The small card board format makes it a really nice object in itself.
