First Peter Pauper Press Notebook I bought and I absolutely LOVE it. It's the perfect size to jot notes down on or have in your bag that doesn't take up to much room. The paper is think, creamy and lightly lined. I've even used fineliners and did not have bleeding or ghosting issues. The band keeps everything closed nice and tight and having the little pocket in the back is a nice added touch. The cover is well made, hard, durable and has a light texture with some shimmer to it that adds a flair of beauty to it. With the price under $5.00, due yourself a favor and buy a few of these. You wont regret it!! FYI I put the ribbon marker in there myself (found that on youtube).

I purchased this for personal use, and it makes writing feel special and intentional. A perfect choice if you appreciate subtle design and high-quality stationery.

So cute!! I bought this as a birthday gift for my friend and she loveddd it. It didn't come damaged at all, and the texture and design of the cover was so pretty. Definitely worth your money! When you think of the "average" journal size it is just slightly smaller (not "small" though!), which I find perfect. The pages aren't thin, either - it feels like good quality paper. Taking the price into consideration, this product is just great.

I really wanted to love this journal. I purchased one for myself with the intention of buying another one to send to my best friend. We're both journal fanatics. In the end, I didn't buy a second one of these. Don't get me wrong, for the price I am happy with this diary/journal. It was on sale for $4.49 and worth every penny. I like the size, am happy that the lines are not overly outstanding. And the extra embellishments are a wonderful touch. I'm a sucker for a little bling. The only thing that prevents me from giving it a five star rating is that the one that I received is a little drab color wise. I realize that every monitor gives a little different representation of color. I anticipated, based on the photos, that this journal would be soft blue with a blue elastic closure. It is more grayish in color. I'm happy with the quality. Ecstatic with the price. I will probably purchase another one of these in a much brighter pattern/shade for my friend. For me, this was just not as pretty as I'd hoped it would be. There are other items that I own offered by this company that I think are beautiful. This one falls a little flat for me. It is just not as pretty as the photos.

i absolutely love this notebook! the design is so cute and its super high quality for the price, its also the perfet size to throw in my bag so i can carry it around with me. the foiling is subtle but super pretty and the lines are light enough that you can easily draw over them if you like to doodle in journals

This is a great little journal. I find it the perfect size for a diary or daily journal as it is roughly the size of a DVD case. I wouldn't use it as a journal to carry around as it is a little big and also very solid. It has almost no bend in it and thus would be difficult to shove in a purse. The cover is just lovely. The details in the design have a metal inlay that gives it a very slight, subtle sparkle. It isn't glitter or anything else that will come off and make a mess. The design is also raised on the cover so that it feels bumpy to the touch. The whole thing looks and feels like a much more expensive journal. The picture on amazon makes it look very blue whereas mine is almost a slate grey. Very understated, very lovely. The paper is regular note book quality with very light lines. The paper doesn't overly absorb ink or isn't oily or otherwise weird. Just straight up normal paper in a pretty cover.

These are really pretty & small & meet my needs exactly. My husband's family lost a young man a month ago. They're not even celebrating Christmas bcuz it's too hard. I didn't want to go over the top so I bought a small lovely votive candle holder, a candle and these journals with an ornament with the image of their lost loved one. This was a good solution for a tough situation and I am glad these were available & fast. Btw, these came on time, packed well & looked even prettier than the pictures of them. I bought all three varieties of the same journal. One for the mom & the other 2 for the sisters of their missing loved one. I'm hoping they'll tell the journals what they don't wish to talk about during this difficult time.

I agree with the other reviews. The cover is more beautiful than I imagined. There is a label on the back, but mine peeled off easily without leaving any marks. The paper quality is lovely, an off white colour with faint lines. The journal opens flat so it is easy to write on both sides of the page ;) There is a nice size pocket on the inside rear cover - nice for keepsakes. I highly recommend this journal. It reminds of the kind of journal you would expect to find in your Granny's belongings.....a real keepsake. I am looking forward to buying the others in the series!

The size description says A4 but its actually A5 much smaller

I bought this as a gift. I hope they will like it, I sure find it a gorgeous journal. And the delivery was great, 1 day earlier! All in all 5 stars experience!
