Hape Playfully Delicious - Chef's Cooking Set Playset

I ordered this set for my one year old daughter, who loves to play with real kitchen pots, pans, and wooden spoons for entertainment while I’m cooking dinner. She had previously shown little interest in her sisters’ toy kitchen sets, which were not very realistic. As soon as I opened this set, my 8 year olds showed renewed and intense excitement that they now had kitchen toys that were in their words “more real”. They played with them for hours, while our littlest one banged away happily. I highly recommend this set for anyone looking for a realistic quality, or who follows the Waldorf or Montessori guidelines for raising children. I was excited about the cardboard box that they were packaged in, as I find other realistic toy companies to be heavy on the plastic. I was disappointed, however, in the amount of unnecessary plastic on the inside of the box, wrapping each individual item. I had originally docked a star for this unnecessary waste, but decided against it due to the incredible quality of the actual toys themselves. My husband even commented that our children now have a sturdier whisk than we do. 1/5/19 Update: We just purchased another set of these as a gift, and they were well received. We have also had several friends get the info to order sheets as well, being so impressed with the quality upon seeing them. Holding up extremely well. We now have 9 month old son who bangs on them daily for entertainment.

My son absolutely loves to pull out pots and pans in the kitchen and just go to town banging on them and throwing them around. He pretty much always has. These are perfect for keeping a restless toddler happy and away from Momma's good pots. He loves to use the whisk and stir the pot. He's 16 months and it is honestly the perfect size for now and he'll still be able to play with it in the future. Plus, it's so super cute how adorable and little everything is!

This set is very high quality. The pan and pot are thick metal, I do not think my kids will be able to break it. The spoons are thick wood (or perhaps bamboo, not sure) and are also holding up well to daily play. The rolling pin is the only piece with any plastic (the handles) and I'm guessing that piece won't last as long- time will tell.

I bought this play kitchen set for our little nieces birthday. She loves it. Perfect size for little kids!! Plus she uses her "kitchen stuff" while her parents are making dinner. Really sweet & fun they are all in the kitchen together!!

Love the realistic look & size of this set. A two year old boy plays with these daily & though now dented (he is not gentle with his toys) they are holding up. I feel this set is the perfect number of pieces also. Not so many pieces to pick up off the floor. His parents tell me that he loves his little pots & pans.

Just received the cookware and I’m very pleased with the quality it is stainless steel and 5 inches in diameter so it is actually big enough for my great granddaughter to put some food in there, she is a gourmet chef and she is going to enjoy using this set of cookware in her kitchen, she’s only 18 months old and loves cooking so she’s going to love this cookware set!

Fits perfectly with the Hape Gourmet kitchen wooden play set. Our son loves them because they look like his parents'.

It’s a huge hit. My toddler likes to pretend they’re sautéing vegetables, and the dough roller is a marvel to them. Like, you hold onto the handles, but it rolls… totally wild. Super durable. Toddler’s thrown the pots and pans more than a few times now, and there’s not a dent. The bamboo and wood utensils are well-treated and splinter-free. Very nice purchase.

Das ist so ein süßes Set. Super verarbeitet und sieht wertig aus. Unser Kind war begeistert. Man kann die Teigrolle auch für richtiges Backen verwenden, da diese aus Holz ist. Unser Kind hat damit auch schon Keksteig ausgerollt. Super Qualität. Klare Empfehlung.
