**Q: will speaker work with my kindle fire 8.9?**
A: It should, as long as you have standard bluetooth it should be automatic.  It works on my Android phone, tablet, and PC.

A: Greetings,To the best of my understanding, any volume adjustments made to the X-Mini will only effect the speaker itself, while connected to a PC. While in use with a cell phone, the X-Mini will control both the volume of the speaker and that of the phone it is paired with. I hope this answers any questions you may have had.

**Q: Can the X-Mini KAI XAM11-B portable capsule speaker be connected via the headphone jack of my iPod classic to play music from that source?**
A: Yes, this mini speaker has a stow-away 3.5mm cable to connect to any device with the same type of connection (a headphone jack).
