**Q: Is this waterproof?**
A: No, it is not waterproof. I have gotten my documents wet walking under heavy rain before.

**Q: Does this backpack have a sleeve on the back to slide over a handle on a carry on suitcase**
A: Yes, it does. It has a sideways strap on the back ~5in. from the base for that.

**Q: Is this bag too big for and 11 year ol?**
A: It's meant to carry a 17.3" laptop not just a 15 stated by other commenter.  If your 11 year old will get this bag he will surely have the BEST bookbag in the world!!! I wish I had you as my mom.  I got a $30 Jansport bag always.  This will fit him and last him years. He'll soon be a big strapping 14 year old and this bag will still be going strong.  This bag will last through all the abuse teenagers will dish out.  This is my favorite bag in the entire world. Get it!

**Q: Does the laptop get strapped into place or is it a sleeve?**
A: Sleeve inside back pack for smaller laptop 15”, and zipped compartment on back of backpack for 17” laptop. No straps.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid backpack that has passed the stress test

This is a good backpack. I use it for work (manufacturing facility) and the gym and the size is perfect. It will fit in a locker at work and at the gym. The zippers are well-built and can take a lot of stress. I usually carry 2 water bottles in the smaller front pouch and the bag has held up well even with that much weight and volume in the bag. I've bought other backpacks on Amazon, but they were more cheaply made and the zippers broke with everyday use. I've had this one over a year now and everything is still completely intact. The small pocket at the top is good for carrying your keys, sunglasses, wallet, etc and my work laptop has never been damaged using the back pocket. Backpacks are performance items, so for this type of item you get what you pay for.
