For the masters
Im in sales and have to use a pen to present multiple times a day. Blue is the best color for sales and filling out contracts. The fine size is the absolute best. I have a team and everyone gets one as a gift. I purchase one box a month. Nothing flows like this pen. Half of the entire sales floor is now using them. I tell them to write it with a black pen and separate paper with the blue and ask them which paper would you buy side by side 100% go blue. Its very obvious and a tool. Rubbing alcohol can easily remove the ink if it gets on your skin and hand sanitizers work as well. I've seen pictures of a vice president of the US holding the blue fine size. Which is exactly the one that's best. Not supporting just sayin!

Best pens ever
These are my favorite pens - arrived quickly! Only negative is that the box was smooshed so when I opened the package they all fell out, and I can't get them to stay in the box.

I've Adored these Pens Since I was a Child!
I received this Pilot Precise V7 Blue 12 Pens Set and I'm in love! This is by FAR not the first time I've purchased these pens. I fell in love with Pilot Pens years ago when I was a little girl in Elementary school watching my teacher grade papers with them. I was SO entrigued with how smoothly the ink came out. I couldn't wait until I could have one of my own! Years later, and finally I could get my very own Pilot Pens! I squeal inside everytime I use them because they just glide so smoothly. I primarily handwrite in cursive (I know, they don't even teach that anymore), and nothing irks me more than having a pen that has ink that cuts out or is goupy and sticky. You won't see any of that with these pens. They also last MUCH longer than other gel or discount roller ball pens. They fit really well in the hand, not too thick or really thin, either. And the clip is steel - not plastic, so it doesn't break off anoyingly when you clip in on and off. The best part about this order, was that when I opened my box of 12 blue Pens, I counted 13! They threw in an extra pen for me, which I am absolutely giddy over! Thanks guys! Conclusion: Buy these pens, only these pens. You won't regret it!

this is the value answer for roller-point
I've tested several pens and found this the best value in the disposable range. I carried the great American pen for decades, but their refill quality fell apart, so I've moved on and settled on V7. The only downside to V7 is the finish: it's a small, cheap, hard, slick tube; there's nothing wrong with that and they work for me fine. People with big hands (men's ring size 11 or larger) might find them hard to handle. But everything else about these pens is solid, especially the value. I buy them by the box (12) to get the best price. I tried the other disposables, but I think these give the best cost-to-life value. There are different flavors, so you need to try the three-packs until you find your best fit. V5 is a smaller tip (0.5mm?); V7 is probably 0.7mm. Then they come in different finishes: I find extra fine to be too fine unless you're sketching in a pen-and-ink fashion. So I use fine: I can get lighter lines with touch in the rare cases when I need them. With fine you can sign documents and fill out forms and edit print-outs; I card out baseball games, so lots of details and ticks and lines in little boxes and V7 fine is perfect for that. The tip rolls with the tiniest resistance . . . . which is what I need. I don't want it to roll flawlessly because I like the tiny drag to help me feel where I am. These roll even easier than the best ball-point. The slower you write, the wider the ink will feed (same way as a nib works). From that you figure out which type (medium, fine, extra fine) you need to get the line width you want at the speed at which you write.

My favorite blue ink pen
These pens in the blue ink are my most favorite. They write so well and feel creamy when using it on my legal pad paper. I have not had a problem with this ink bleeding through the paper. If the paper is thin there is a little bleed through on the other side. This pen does not bleed on my fingers at all like some pens do. I write with these pens everyday and they last several weeks before the ink dries up. Great for work or journaling. If you like blue ink, this pen is wonderful. I have tried the black ink but for some reason it is not as creamy as the blue ink. Would recommend this pen to others for sure!

Perfect, but leaking after travelling to higher altitudes
This pen is perfect but I've been realizing that after going through flights, and specially higher altitude locations, the pen leaks. It was a surprise for me, as it never happens on lower altitude locations. Eg: In the past year, every time I travel to Mexico city, at least one of my pens is leaking.

Awesome pens
I have used these pens for years and I absolutely love them. They glide easily on your paper and you don’t have to bear down when writing. They also last longer than most pens like this do. It is important to keep the lid on these when you are not using this pen. Even though these pens don’t leak on your fingers or blotch the paper when writing, they will leave ink on a surface they are touching, like a bedspread. You also don’t want to leave them in a hot car, because they will bleed inside the lid of the pen. When I received these, the pen box had opened and the pens were all over inside the shipping box, but it was not a big deal to me. I highly recommend these and the price is reasonable. The blue ink is also a beautiful blue color. I like the V7 pens much better than the V5 pens, which are the very fine type.

Among the best pens I've used yet!
I used to previously swear by the G2 gel pens, but these are way smoother and require less pressure. The ink in these is water based rather then gel based, so the properties are a lot closer to those of fountain pens then ballpoints. (I have refilled empty V7 pens with fountain pen ink, and they work almost just as well). This means that these pens are SMOOTH writing, especially when held at a slight angle. They seem to have a sweet spot position, where the line it lays down is thicker then 0.7mm but writes a lot smoother. Find the angle that works best for you.(This same sweet spot also exists on the V5 pens, but not the retractable v5/v7s from my experience). One of the downsides is that you need to have good quality paper, otherwise the pen feathers just like fountain pens. It also bleeds through to the back on some paper, so you may only get to use 1 side. On the other hand, if you use non-absorbent paper, they write great, but do smudge, as they take a while to dry. The capped version of the V5 and V7 seem to write better/smoother then the retractable versions as well. Overall, the smoothness rivals that of fountain pens, and requires a lot less pressure then G2s to write especially if you can find the sweet-spot angle where they glide without pressure (to be clear, you still need to press down, unlike with FP's, but these were good enough to convert me for in-class use for note taking). If you like the G2 but want something even smoother and requiring less pressure, or you're sick of pressing down on pencils, give these a try!
