A: To make polenta, mix 3 parts of water with 1 part of cornmeal. Pour the cornmeal while boiling, and keep moving it until it gets the desired density, if you want it thick keep moving it until your arm hurts. Get it out and salt to taste, I put a dollop of butter and mix it well.
