That doesn't include the flanges, which seems to be what others may be measuring at more than 1/2 inch. **Q: What size snaps are these?** A: Mine are *not* 3/8" They are over 1/2" **Q: How thick of leather will these go through? I need to go through 1/4" thick leather but ideally I'd like it to go through 3/8 thick leather.** A: I tried to use these for a 1/4" thick belt. They didn't work. The female part worked fine, but even with the backing with the longer stem, the male side requires a slightly longer stem. You could definitely connect something thin to a 1/4" leather piece, but not two 1/4" leather pieces. **Q: Can you use this tool for ykk 15mm snaps?** A: Yes ## Frequently Bought Together - General Tools 1265 Snap Fastener Kit with 6 Fasteners - General Tools 1266 Snap Fastener Refills, 6 Fastener Sets - 108pcs 15mm Stainless Steel Fastener Snap Press Stud Cap Button Marine Boat Canvas Line 24(4 Components, 27pcs for Each) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/1715581-general-tools-1265-snap-fastener-kit-with-6-fasteners](https://www.desertcart.no/products/1715581-general-tools-1265-snap-fastener-kit-with-6-fasteners) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
