You can check out my blog post on how I made my DIY Vanity Mirror with Lights [...]**Diary of a Makeup Addict** There are many ways this light strip can be used. It is important to note that this light does not come with a power cord or on/off switch, you have to buy one separately to hook this item up. Check out the "customers who bought this item also bought" list and suggestions should be offered. I also listed links to all the items I used on my blog post. Check out the deets [...]. It was very easy to hook it up. These lights are very sturdy and provide a great light source. Although I do not have mine mounted, I imagine they are easy to mount, as they come with holes for easy mounting. I am very impressed with this vanity light strip and would recommend it to others!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT FOR DIY MiVANITY LIGHTS!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Two important tips not mentioned
*by H***R on May 3, 2026*

Two important tips to help you install this six light fixture. First, to separate the wall plate from the decorative face plate simply remove the six cylindrical socket covers by pulling them straight up and away. This will allow the back cover to fall from the decorative plate. Second, for the six light fixture, there are two sets of wires inside the wall plate that must be connected to the house current wires. If you don’t do this, only three lights will light up, and you’ll have to take the fixture apart to connect the other set (which I hade to do). These two things are not mentioned in the instructions. Other than the poorly written instructions, this is a nice fixture for the price.
