The Beautiful Bastard series—from the New York Times bestselling authors behind Love and Other Words and The Unhoneymooners —continues in this new novella—b ack when not being able to stand each other also meant not being able to keep their hands of each other, neither Bennett nor Chloe could have seen this day coming. One beautiful bastard of a groom. The most beautiful bitch of a bride. A panty-ripping office hook-up turned true love everlasting. Wedding bells can’t chime soon enough for Chloe Mills and Bennett Ryan. Chloe, exasperated and stressed by all the last-minute to-dos, is on the verge of saying “I do” to eloping. For his part, Bennett’s so worried about being distracted by Chloe’s body that he makes a no-sex-until-the-wedding-night rule that only seems to be making things worse by continually backfiring on him. As their crazy families descend for the big day—only a few of them actually trying to be helpful—the fiery lovers are about to test whether the couple that argues together can keep it together long enough to exchange rings, and not just heated words. Review: Filthy, dirty, hilarious, fun and I loved every single second of it! - Filthy, dirty, hilarious, fun and I loved every single second of it! I freaking loved this story. Loved. It. Everything about it made me happy! It was playful and hot right from the start. I love Bennett and Chloe so much and their adventure to get to the alter had just the right mix of drama and hotness. They have such loving, playful attitudes and are so great together. There were some seriously funny scenes throughout the story. I particularly loved a scene at the church, I thought it was priceless! The families, the aunts, George, what Bennett was up to with Will - it was all so witty! Any time the guys get together I'm always happy, I love their interactions. I seriously kept bursting out into giggles and had a smile plastered on my face through most of the book. I loved what Bennett wanted to do and Chloe's mission to break his resolve. It created a serious amount of sexual tension but a lot of passion and steaminess too. I'm glad the drama involved in the story was light but I thought it was just the right amount to keep you wondering what was going to happen next. I loved the wedding, it was so full of emotion and beautifully written - I was teary eyed. The duo of Christina Lauren have this great knack for painting a wonderful picture. Bennett and Chloe are so sweet together and so in love, I thought they were evenly matched and balanced each other out perfectly. I love their relationship and how they've grown together. I also thought it was wonderful how they spent their first night together as a married couple, it was so symbolic and perfect. I think this was the perfect ending to the series but I'm sad its over. Will and Hanna... oh my goodness. Yes! Max and Sara... sigh. Love them all. 5 stars because I loved it and it made me happy! I'd like to give it 6 actually. Seriously, I have this crazy smile and feel good feeling happening. Love the bastard and the bitch. :-) Review: Chloe and Bennett Get Married - FINAL DECISION: The story of the marriage of Chloe and Bennett, getting to see the characters all in a happy place was nice, but I wasn't as drawn into this story as much as the other novellas. The humor felt more forced and less exciting, but still a nice revisit. THE STORY: Chloe and Bennett started out with arguing and angry sex, but now they are getting married and there is plenty of anger at family and no sex because Bennett wants to wait for the wedding night. A series of crazy capers happens when it is time for the wedding. OPINION: I always enjoy seeing all the characters from the Beautiful series in situations that are not about their emotional turmoil but rather about enjoying their relationship. This novella is a cute episode with the crazy events surround Chloe and Bennett's marriage. What I enjoyed most about the story is how we get to see Bennett's intense love for Chloe. Definitely sigh-worthy. Although the story has a lot of humor, I wasn't as engaged with the story as with the prior stories. I liked the story, but didn't find it as hilarious as others. WORTH MENTIONING: This is an adorable novella with all the cast and crew of the prior books in the Beautiful series. It clearly was designed to be an ending to the series although the authors continued the series a few years later. CONNECTED BOOKS: BEAUTIFUL BEGINNING is book 3.5 in the Beautiful series. It should be read as part of the series as it assumes knowledge of the characters. STAR RATING: I give this book 4 stars.

Fantastic finale to a filthy, hilarious, SEXY and loving series!
Bennett Ryan MY Beautiful Bastard. What a ride. If you're wondering whether this book will measure up to the others in the series, put your mind at rest. The anger, name-calling and subsequent mind-blowing sex is on full display. The boys have equal time in the book to showcase the male catty dialogue they are so famous for. I laughed out loud so many times that my kindle is basically highlighted through the entire book. As always the snarky one liners and comedic timing is spot on. Bennett and Chloe start off hot and sizzle all the way through. When Max made his many appearances in the book I was reminded how I swooned for him in Beautiful Stranger. And having just finished Beautiful Player I loved getting a little more Will and Hanna. Meeting the various members of the two families did not disappoint. The many new supporting characters were written perfectly making the story much more interesting. Especially--BULL! Of course it wouldn't be a wedding for these two if it weren't riddled with constant chaos and disasters, which happened at every turn and will have you howling at the absurdity. But what I loved most about this book was the deeper look into the love that Bennett has for his Chloe. They melded a perfect blend of Bastard and Gentleman that will make you fall hard--harder, for ole' Ben. It is a quick read that serves up the finale to this series perfectly in a nice silver wedding bow. I'm just sad it's the last we will hear from our Beautiful duo of friends--I'll miss them. Christina Lauren, thank you for the journey with these guys--your writing is infectious and I give this book a high five with five BIG stars!

A "Beautiful Beginning" and a perfect end to a great a series!
So it's been a while since I've read Beautiful Bastard, I forgot how much I adore Bennett Ryan and Chloe Mills. Beautiful Beginning reminded me and made me want to go back to the beginning and read the series over again. Beautiful Beginning finds Bennett and Chloe during their wedding week. They're stressed about the trip to San Diego and their families converging. They're Bastard and Bitch at their finest: passionate, emotional, fiesty, stubborn and hilarious. These two have come so far through the course of this series and to read their relationship come full circle is so satisfying. They don't lose, for one minute, what they're relationship is based on: equal fighting and mutual admiration. Mr. Mills and Mrs. Ryan are great characters with a powerful love story. The scene at the wedding rehearsal is so steamy when they start their nonsense with each other. Christina Lauren's writing is concise and on point that there is no way you can deny these two characters are meant to be together forever. In addition, all the boys and girls of the Beautiful series have been invited to the wedding and provide great comic relief for Bennett and Chloe. I adore all these characters and this series. This book was a perfect ending for the series and definitely a "beautiufl beginning" for the Bastard and Bitch. You must read it! I'm sad to see it come to an end. I look forward to more great stories from these authors.

If you Like Chloe and Bennett I'm Sure You'll Love This
3.5 stars I think it's well established that I love this series, but unfortunately Chloe and Bennett are my least favorite couple. I get the whole hate sex/combative relationship, and I agree it creates quite a few steamy moments, but after a few pages it just wears on my nerves. Plus Sara and Max and Will and Hanna are just better. Clearly I knew going in that this was going to be a book about Chloe and Bennett's wedding, but I was disappointed to see that it was just from Chloe and Bennett's perspective. I guess it's hard to write more than two perspectives, especially in a novella, but I still wish we could have had a Sara or Hanna or Max or Will perspective in there too. Don't get me wrong, all four characters featured prominently in this book, I think the guys more than the girls, and I loved that. I'm assuming if you're reading this you've read Beautiful Player so you know Sara is pregnant, a storyline I absolutely love. It was great to hear about her pregnancy and I'm so sad to leave her and Max and their future baby behind. But back to Chloe and Bennett. It's weird, because I like both of them separately, I think Chloe is totally badass and I love a badass female character and I've always thought Bennett was a good guy under his gruff exterior, but somehow together they just drive me nuts. And their descriptions of each other are just so cliche. I do think they had a nice wedding. I love weddings though so it's hard for me not to like a book about a wedding. It's just so nice to see two people (even fictional people) so in love and so happy to be starting their life together. There are quite a few hijinks both good (Bennett sticking Chloe's cougar aunts on Will) and bad (a ridiculous number of things go wrong with the wedding) and eventually I found myself thinking, just get on with the wedding. There was also an absurd scene when Chloe and Bennett nearly start humping in front of their weddings guests. Bottom Line: If you like Chloe and Bennett I am sure you will like this book. If you're like me and are kind of indifferent about them/they drive you nuts you'll probably find yourself enjoying some aspects and wishing for more of other aspects (Will, Hanna, Max, and Sara!).

A Beautiful Ending
I really had the most fun reading this one. It was full of nervous angst that everyone feels when they partake on wedding planning. (Nothing ever goes completely smooth.....I remember it all too well !!) Bennett & Chloe love, anger, hate, cherish, devour each other so so good in this finality! Out of all of the Beautiful books in this series...it is with out a doubt, the funniest. It is a feel-good story that I hate to see end. And I am positive that everyone reading it feels the same way. I have loved all the characters, they each are spectacular in their own ways. Hate to say goodbye to any of them(hinting for the authors to give us more !!!!) And on that note, a huge "Well Done" Christina & Lauren !!! Epic Writing. This series, for me, will be re-read numerous times. Can't wait for all of the future writings to come.

A beautiful novella for Chloe and Bennett's wedding!
The day has finally come! Bennett and Chloe are finally tying the knot, and you know this won't go down with out some sexual tension and arguments in true Bennett and Chloe style. Chloe is freaking out about the wedding, and continues to try to talk Bennett into running off to Vegas, Bennett keeps telling her no, and Chloe seems to get it. On the night before they are about to leave, and Chloe is not happy about folding all the programs, etc. she tries to seduce Bennett, and it works, but she is not happy with what Bennett tells her after their hot sexcapades. Watching these two navigate through their wedding week was hilarious. Both of them are sexually frustrated, both of them are dealing with their crazy families, and all they want to do is walk down the aisle and say "I do". Their wedding week is full of laughs, bad things happening, and more of Max and Will causing Bennett to go crazy. I adored getting to see these two finally tie the knot, and I wouldn't have expected anything less than what we got in this book. I laughed multiple times, and the chemistry between these two continues to blow up my Kindle. If you've read this series and have fallen in love with all of the characters as much as I have, you definitely need to pick up Beautiful Beginning to see how things finally work out for Chloe and Bennett.

Loved this Whole Series
I don't know why it's taken me so long to read "Beautiful Beginning." I love the whole BB series, and I especially love the ready wit and sharp banter not only between Bennett and Chloe, but amongst all their friends as well. They are outrageous, but in a way that sometimes makes me wonder what it would be like to have friends as unabashed, yet devoted, as this group is. "Beautiful Beginning" is a novella -- less than 200 pages. At the risk of giving away any plot (for those who haven't read the other BB books), this delightful little book took the Bennett and Chloe journey and wrapped it up in a lovely Tiffany blue bow. It's funny, sexy (of course), but most of all, it was tender. Yes -- BB has a tender side, but make no mistake, it's reserved for Chloe alone. I laughed -- and even winced a little. I shed a sweet tear or two, but most of all, I just read it with an amused and delighted grin. Five they-never-disappoint-me stars!

I loved this whole series - couldn't put it down
I loved this whole series - couldn't put it down. Such good engaging escapism. I love her strong women characters & the playfulness of dialogue. I find the style of explaining the characters thoughts and actions so clear & visceral. I agree that these are better than 50 Shades as I prefer the equality of characters & the playfulness.

Loved this whole series!
There is nothing negative I can say about this book except to say that I am sad to see the Beautiful series come to an end. This book like all the others was absolutely brilliant. It was laugh out loud hilarious at times and the bastard and bitch were as feisty and sexy as ever!!! I can't get enough of these two and their dirty mouths and their fighting and steamy sex. This book was a perfect ending to their story but also a perfect start for their life together. I can't wait for the movie!!!

hmmm. . .
Well, Well, Well Christina Hobbs & Lauren Billings you truly have me stumped. I don't know what to read now, I'm frustrated because you didn't finished the rest of Bennett & Chloe sex, I'm frustrated because I don't get to read more of Max & Sara or Hannah & Will, and I'm also frustrated and upset and happy and elated that I got to read this book and enjoy every last word of it. It was a Beautiful Ending to a Beautiful Series. I can't wait to see what other books you have coming out and I can't wait to see if there will be anymore of and of the other characters. You always know how to keep an audience laughing and shocked in all the right places. I'm also keeping tags on the BB film so I can't wait to hear more. Well done on this book girls. I wish you all the best and I can't wait to see what you bring to the table next!
