No, the ship is attached inside. It is a glass blown ship.

What is the stainless steel whiskey stone

It's Ice cube, made of food-grade 304-Stainless-Steel and frozen liquid, which freezes faster and longer than other whiskey "ice stones" with a freezing speed 10 times faster than other "ice stones". It is more sanitary, durable and does not affect the original taste of the whiskey.

Are they really etched on the globe and glasses or just stickers?

They're etched into the globe and the glasses. It's a a beautiful decanter that is packaged extremely well for shipping. I'm very satisfied as it was a gift to someone very important to me. I had it special altered for her as a retirement gift. She was extremely happy with the quality.

Yes! It's made out of crystal and 100% lead free.
