If it's 4 oz. for $17.15, how is that $2.68 an ounce? My math shows $4.28

I've noticed the price per oz. Amazon shows is often wrong. Very misleading if you don't pay attention and do the math yourself.

did anyone tried to se it for expell rat ?

YES! I have used it to deter rats, mice and other rodents. I soak a piece of wood or cotton balls in the Peppermint Oil and place them under counters, in closets, pantries, in access holes etc... It worked pretty well once I got the main family caught and disposed of, then I used Peppermint and other Ess Oils like Clove and Eucalyptus to keep them away.

are these essential oils food grade?

No, It is not. Federal regulators state that a food or dietary supplement product intended for ingestion (defined as internal use; i.e. swallowing) must bear a food label with a Nutrition Facts box or a dietary supplement label with a Supplement Facts box, plus all appropriate serving information for that declared use. NOW® Solutions has chosen not to market its Essential Oils as foods or dietary supplements, and we cannot recommend using them internally while using aromatherapy labeling.
