Needs direct light to spin on solar power, but I just put in a rechargeable AA battery.It's pretty simple to use, and lightweight. The bed is not perfectly flat, the speed varies depending on light intensity - solar cells are more than adequate under a UV curing lamp.It's the same as the rest - nothing special, but it gets the job done.Not recommended to use when water curing 3d prints - struggles to turn a mason jar, especially if it isn't level and the jar well centered. Something lighter should work fine though, and normal curing in air works great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Has to be physically started *by on Reviewed in the United States October 24, 2025* It works well enough. The problem I have with it is you have to physically move it in the direction you need it to turn before it will start rotating. I wanted to put it up in a sun window where the sun could hit to power it. But it shuts down at night. It has to be physically started again the next day, or all it does is vibrate slightly. Since the sun window isn't accessible without a tall ladder and an extended grabber arm, it can't do what I need it to. But it will do as advertised, turn using solar power.
