I read a lady had hers get stuck so I was cautious putting it in the game system but it isn't even a tight fit, it was normal, just as the original. I have to believe she was putting it in the hole meant for the headphones and not the charging port. I didn't have a need to use the attachment for the Gameboy but my husband said it is the right one and if someone really needed to know they can ask, we have a Gameboy I can try it on but we have an original charging cord for that. I've charged it in a car and it works fine. The cable is not too short so you can play while you're charging it in the car or on a laptop. But then again, I don't use this one regularly as a main charger (I use the wall plug one for that).
