A bigger pot also means that I can put enough water in the pot and not be stressed it evaporates in 30 seconds, which is really nice. I haven't used the double boiler yet, but I'm sure it works fine. The functionality of the set is great, the size is good and the fact that I can stack the pieces and use less space when stored is an added bonus. Works great for a whole head of cauliflower and steaming potatoes makes them fluffier than soaking in water.
