For context, I live in a small apartment with a small central air unit. I kept getting gunk that was coming out of the air vents, so I ordered these. They were very easy to cut and install, and they can be cut to whatever size is needed. They worked very well for their intended purpose of removing dust and bad smells. I did end up removing them, only because even though they were pretty thin, they reduced the airflow in the apartment by a ton and caused heating and cooling issues.
