## Description

This listing is for a multi-book set sold together as one combined product: Surrounded by Idiots, It's Not Always Depression, Eat That Frog, Deep Work 4 Books Collection Set: Surrounded by Idiots: You are not alone. After a disastrous meeting with a highly successful entrepreneur, who was genuinely convinced he was ‘surrounded by idiots’, communication expert and bestselling author, Thomas Erikson dedicated himself to understanding how people function and why we often struggle to connect with certain types of people. It's Not Always Depression: We were all taught that our thoughts affect our emotions, but in truth it is largely the other way around: we have to experience our emotions to truly understand our thoughts, and our full selves. This is why we should think not only about cognitive behavioural therapy or medication, but also about our emotions, when addressing psychological suffering. Eat That Frog: Using 'eat that frog' as a metaphor for tackling the most challenging task of your day - the one you are most likely to procrastinate on, but also probably the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life - Eat That Frog! shows you how to zero in on these critical tasks and organize your day. Deep Work: 'Deep work' is the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. Coined by author and professor Cal Newport on his popular blog Study Hacks, deep work will make you better at what you do, let you achieve more in less time and provide the sense of true fulfilment that comes from the mastery of a skill.

Review: Surviving different personality types at work - After having read this book ; I sat with My sister in law and spoke about how it enhanced our understanding of ourselves , our partners , and people in the workplace . We’d come across the Myers’s briggs theory which is similar , but scaling this down to colours made the book very relatable
