So I bought one for my brother as his kept quitting.

easy to install, easy to setup, buttons are large and make sense, only works with latest high speed micro sd cards, happy with my purchase, happy with the performance, happy with the quality

You get what you pay for in terms of video and audio quality but it does the job. Most won't have this problem but my car doesn't have a cigarette lighter port so I had to buy a separate cable.

I was backed into by an older woman that wasn't paying attention and apparently couldn't hear me honking. Although it was a pretty clear cut situation, I was glad to have this dash cam in case her insurance company tried to weasel out of paying (I was initially concerned because her adult son was accusing me of not taking action to get out of her way. I was like 'Say what? You guys backed into me!' ). Thankfully, her company accepted liability and is paying for my damage). The Rexing dash cam works great.

I don't know why everything is so difficult. I would be the majority of folks want a dash cam that: You install on the windshield, run the cable to your power source (cigarette lighter), turn on, let it record in a 5 minute loop and if there is a crash, have 3 buttons.."Replay" which replays the last 5 minutes, "forward" and "reverse". I don't need Motion detection, I don't need it to be connected to a phone, I don't need to see the dark side of the moon, I just need it in case some a-hole at a light, stops his car, reverses it into me and claims I hit him. That's it. Nobody makes this. I have tossed my Rexing into the trash and yes, I do have money to burn. Nothing is easy anymore.

I have been running this dashcam in my vehicle for nearly 3 years. I have not had any issues with the heat, as we live in the extreme heat of Arizona. It has come in handy a couple of times to document interesting things while driving. This product has done me so well that I ordered two more units to put in the rest of our vehicles. One of the units was in a rollover accident (was t-boned and vehicle flipped) and came out unscathed and aided with insurance purposes. I would say these are virtually indestructible. If you are looking for a well made inexpensive solution, then this is your cam.

Works well, the wires are a handful. Should have paid more for wireless.

Originally Purchased a Rexing Dashcam for my wife's car as a mother days gift about 3 years ago. We live in texas where it gets extremely hot inside vehicles during the summer. It's held up very well and works very well and still works great. We like the video quality, features and functionality it offers. Easy to use too. We liked it so much I purchased this one for my car. I'd recommend it to others
