Worth the money, fits into everything, light, easy to clean. These have a strong spring compared to cheap generic hawthorns. These also stop the big ice but lets the drink easily run through it. After my sister bought me a stirring glass and a Boston shaker for my birthday, I figured I could use an appropriate strainer. This one was perfect for me. It fits both the shaker tin and the glass, so no need for a second julep strainer. It's easy to hold in place, holds back the ice, and catches much of the other stuff, like stray bits of lemon pulp. (To really get out every last tiny ice chip or bit of lemon, you still need a fine mesh strainer, as is to be expected.) I like the comfortable black oxo grippy thing, which is in the perfect spot. I like that it had a short handle that doesn't get in the way.
