I am not sure why my infant seat had no head rest from factory, but i purchased this one based on reviews. It was easy to install, it has 2 inserts so it can grow with baby. It says the grey one is cooling but we live is sunny , hot swfl and it is not cooling at all my baby does get sweaty on the back when the rest of her is not. That is the reason for 4 star review. Otherwise 5 stars. The fit is great, sturdiness and quality are great for the price.
