A: Yes, works great in place of a carabiner. Only use on the tip, clear side of lanyard. Red marked tail is a termination end and not intended for life support.

**Q: Weight limit please?**

Open gate strength : 10 kN, 2,248 lbs of force
ANSI cert'd for life support.

**Q: Does “bottom” part open?**
A: Yes, a 4mm allen screw can be removed and the side shackle pulled out to place it on a tight eye or other inline options.
