This is a great razor. My 4th one in the past 20 some odd years. Can’t say enough good things about it. I even now use it to give myself a fade haircut. That all being said, this seller will only send you an EU charger with the razor. I returned it to them, told the of the mixup and specifically asked them to be sure to send me the next one with an American 110V standard charger. The next day they sent the replacement…complete with an EU charger. Not sure if they’re just dumb or completely deaf to their customers. Either way I’m avoiding this vendor like the plague in the future. Buy this razor…but not from this seller.

Great trimmer. Flexible settings and easy to clean.

I finally replaced my 15 year old remington trimmer. the old one was excellent but would not take a charge & wasn't working well even with the cord plugged in. so i got this model which looks exactly the same except its now black instead of silver. this new one is definitely make of cheaper, thinner plastic. blades seem faster & quieter but the cut is a little different. the flip up adjustment is not as smooth as the old one either. I generally trim my face once per week with this, I hope there is no irritation. I used it once and it seems ok so far. price was a little more than I expected but i cannot find these anywhere else anymore. I hope it lasts as long as the other one but i have my doubts. other brands give me irritation so i gotta stick with this.

Hubby's original Remington Beard Trimmer(15+yrs) served him so well that he wanted the same brand. Again, the Remington brand did not disappoint. He is very happy with the quality, price, all the attachments, adjustability, cordless and portable for use on travel. There is no noise level.

Not as good as the original. I thought I'd replace my husband's shaver/trimmer with the same brand since his was not working that well after having it for years. This one sounds okay whenbyou turn it on, but when he starts using it on his face, it seems to slow down and it does pull his wiskers sometimes. I guess I'll be looking and checking reviews for a different brand. Definitely not made as well as the original. I'm giving it 2 stars for now. It works ok but not that great. He complains about it every time he uses it.

Had the older model and this is even better! So, it's easy to handle plus the battery lasts a long time before recharge. It's quiet when on and the adjustable comb is perfect with enough settings for anyone's real needs. A small additional trimmer integrated is a nice touch for facial hair. Comes with a charger and is the best hair item I've had. Additionally, it looks good too, not weird or flashy but manly functional. The price is well worth to me and glad I bought this a 2nd time.

Do tej pory byłem fanem Philips OneBlade, jednak nożyki są bardzo kosztowne. Przy twardym zaroście trzeba je bardzo często wymieniać. Remington bardzo dobrze radzi sobie nawet z twardym zarostem. Dzięki możliwości regulacji długości cięcia, każdy będzie mógł w łatwy sposób zadbać o swoją brodę :) Akumulatorek wystarcza naprawdę na wiele sesji, więc bez obaw! Ładowanie również następuje dosyć szybko.

****[Update 02.06.2021]**** Läuft immer noch!!! Seit 13 Jahren. Alle Teile sind noch intakt. Ich bin nach wie vor sehr zufrieden. ****[Update 21.09.2016]**** ich schreibe schon seit Jahren das selbe - läuft und läuft. Klar, mein Akku ist unterdessen völlig hinüber. Ich vermute mal, dass ich im Akku-Betrieb nicht mehr rasieren kann. Aber ich stecke den Rasierer immer ans Netz an. Zum Start braucht es ca. 10 Sekunden, dann ist der Rasierer auch auf voller Leistung da. Ich lasse mir meinen Bart ca. 4 Wochen stehen (+/-) und dann wird auf Stufe drei zurückgeschnitten. Und das geht wunderbar. Ich würde gerne mal das neue Modell beschreiben und rezensieren, aber so lange meine Rasierer läuft, werde ich mir keinen neuen kaufen. In unserer Gesellschaft wird eh zu viel weggeschmissen. Dem Trend will ich entgegenwirken. Sorry. Das ist vielleicht für den einen oder anderen Käufer nicht nachvollziehbar. ****[Update 14.11.2014]**** läuft und läuft. Und das schon seit über 6 Jahren. ****[Update 01.11.2013]**** Vor über einem Jahr habe ich mein letztes Update zu meiner Rezension geschrieben. Ich kann nur sagen, mein Gerät läuft und läuft. Augfrund eines Kommentars zu meiner Rezension habe ich mal wieder reingeschaut und mich überraschten die 36 1-Sterne-Rezensionen. Die Qualität des Produktes scheint ja wirklich schlechter geworden zu sein. Ich nehme den Schneidkopf auch häufig zum säubern ab und danach kann ich diesen problemlos wieder einsetzen und da wackelt nix - passt alles 1a. Da ich den vielen "Hilfreich's" zu meiner ReZension entnehme, dass sich viele Käufer auf meine Rezension verlassen, suche ich jemanden, der mir seinen "Fehlkauf" zusendet. Ich würde den Bartschneider dann mit meinem vergleichen, per Update rezensieren und auch gerne ein paar Detailbilder einstellen. So würde die von mir in 2008 geschriebene Rezension auch wieder den von Kaufinteressenten gewünschten Gehalt bekommen. Was meint ihr? Sendet mir doch bitte eine Nachricht, ich würde dann meine Adresse per Mail zur Verfügung stellen. ****[Update 30.08.2012]**** Weil immer wieder nachgefragt, hier die Schnittlängen: ohne Aufsatz ca. 0,5 mm (eher weniger) - ich rassiere damit auch Konturen. Obwohl der Barttrimmer einen kleinen ausklappbaren Konturen-Rasierer integriert hat, nutze ich diesen so gut wie nie. Ich rassiere immer mit der großen Klinge. Konturen ohne Aufsatz, Bart mit Aufsatz. und lt. Bedienungsanleitung: Einsetllung 1 - 1,5 mm 2 - 2,5 mm 3 - 4 mm 4 - 5,5 mm 5 - 7 mm 6 - 9 mm 7 - 11 mm 8 - 14 mm 9 - 18 mm Je nachdem, wie stark man den Barttrimmer gegen die Haut drückt, kann die Schnittlänge entsprechend kürzer sein. Da aber so viele Einstellmöglichkeiten vorhanden sind, ist sicher für jeden die richtige Schnittlänge dabei. Eben einfach mal probieren. ****[Update 27.06.2012]**** läuft und läuft..... Noch ein Hinweis: Sorry, wenn ich nicht auf die Kommentare geantwortet habe, ich hatte die Option für Benachrichtigungsmails ausgeschaltet. **** Anfangsrezension **** Ich habe diesen Barttrimmer gekauft, da ich mit meinem alten Haar-/Bartschneider (von Tchibo) nicht zufrieden war. Das Problem bei den meisten Kombigeräten ist meiner Meinung nach, dass man Sie weder zu dem Einen noch zu dem Anderen wirklich gebrauchen kann. Nach dem ich nun schon mehrere Geräte ausprobiert habe, kann ich nur folgende Empfehlung geben: Wenn man seinen Bart schneiden oder Trimmen will, sollte man sich für einen reinen Barttrimmer entscheiden. Mit diesem Gerät hier treffen Sie sicher eine gute Wahl. Die Schnittlänge fängt bei 1,5 mm an, wobei ich das Gefühl habe, dass es sogar 1 mm ist. Die meisten Haar-/Bartschneider fangen bei Bartlängen von 3 mm an. Dies ist zu lang, wenn man einen 3 Tagebart tragen will. Mit diesem Gerät ist es aufgrund der sehr kurzen Schnittlängenwahl wirklich kein Problem. Die Haare werden gleichmäig geschnitten und der Schnitt sieht sehr gepflegt aus. Man kann den Barttrimmer per Akku oder Netz betreiben. Ich ziehe es vor, das Gerät ans Netz zu stecken, denn so hat man immer eine konstante Leistung und Schnittgeschwindigkeit. Außerdem glaube ich, dass man auch Strom spart, denn man hat das Gerät dann immer nur kurz am Netz. Man muss also nur das mitgelieferte Kabel per Klinkenstecker unten ins Gerät stecken und schon kann es losgehen. Der Bartrimmer wurde bei mir in einem praktischen Aufbewahrungstäschchen geliefert. So ist er stets aufgeräumt und man hat nicht den ganzen Schrank voller Barthaare. Die Lieferung bei Amazon war wie immer sehr schnell. Danke! Der Preis ist sicher noch verträglich. Wenn ich mal die ganzen Fehlkäufe zusammenrechne, komme ich auf einen weit höheren Betrag. Ich hätte eben gleich investieren sollen. Aber es ist eben oft so: Billig gekauft ist doppelt gekauft.
