LitOrange Keyboard O-Rings, 500 Piece 40A Silicone Keyboard Dampeners

These are great! A really good price, and they come with two keycap removal tools. The o-rings have dramatically improved my keyboard use - I tend to type quite heavily, and my movely ASMR keyboard was sounding far too loud. It took about 5 minutes to add a ring to the underside of each keycap, and the difference in keypresses now is night and day! Still have the lovely clicky sound I wanted, but I'm not bottoming out on any keypresses now. Far more comfy to type, and somehow it's preventing the typos I was suffering with with the keys travelling further. Brilliant!

They work. That's all you need to know! OK, you want more? Fair enough. If you have a mechanical keyboard like this one, you will know it's very noisy. In fact you can probably hear me typing now... Solution? This kit. You use the supplied tools to lift each key off (one at a time or you are gong to have a nightmare putting them all back in the right place), and put one of these rings around the circular post in the middle of each key. Now, the key doesn't whack hard against the switch mechanism when you type, instead it is cushioned by the rubber ring. So much quieter. Depending on the keyboard, you might find it is better with two o-rings. That's OK, there is about a million in this box. It says 500, but I'm not counting them. There are lots, especially if you drop the box. I've done 3 keyboards so far, plus a spare set of keycaps, and the box looks the same as when I opened it. So yeah, there are plenty in here. To be fair, a box of O-rings won't make the keyboard silent, but it makes it a LOT better. There's even a couple of brushes to dust off your keyboard. At £7.99, this is a decent set for the price. I paid actual money for it rather than getting a free review sample, so that tells you all you need to know.

The sizes are perfect, the material is very good and is definitely going to be long lasting. I've been using these on Choc V1 Red Pro's for over a month now and the sound difference is insane! VERY quiet now, feels absolutely fine, I don't notice any squishiness but I have noticed that I the "softer" bottoming out feeling is surprisingly better for my fingers. I'm not noticing the "shock" you sometimes get with a hard bottoming out, so I will definitely be using these on my keyboards.

Quick delivery and came as described. I only got these as my partner does not particularly like the volume of my key strokes. I don’t happen to care. I put on a few keys first so I can hear if it makes a difference, and how it felt. They keys feel softer now, does not effect the use at all, and it’s very slightly quieter on ‘tapping’, pressing (resting finger on key and pressing) (which I didn’t it video) is way quieter! Again I am not bothered at all, I asked my partner does it sound better and with out telling her I started with a key with out the gasket, she replied ‘yes that’s much better’…. So basically I wasted £8 and about 40 mins putting them on! Oh well they do work but don’t expect massive drop in sound if you’re heavy hitter!

Doe she trick to silence them bloody keys I love my keyboard but the clicky nature of gaming specific keyboards is infuriating to everyone around you These dampen it alot and doubled up still do the trick and keyboard works as it should

I bought these to quieter my mechanical keyboard and they certainly did. My partner was finding my keyboard noise a but of an irritation and these have helped reduce this. It's not a dramatic change and you do have to get used to the different feeling of the keys, however, they do help reduce the annoyance of the tap.

After reading a few reviews and then testing it on my Cherry MX keys, I can confirm that 2x o-rings on each switch post inside the key cap is the way to go. Deadens the 'clack' by about 75% without losing the feel of the switch. Typing is just as responsive and the feel is still there, these just kill the resonance and make typing much quieter and enjoyable. Took me about 40 mins to do the whole KB. Worth the effort! Highly recommend.

I had to replace all keycaps of my new Keychron mechanical keyboard and thought why not apply O-rings at this occasion, and I found on Amazon no better offer. The storage box can hold the two key pulling tools, too. The set comes with enough rings for at least four full-size keyboards and two aptly sized dusting brushes. A word of caution, after thoughtlessly adding rings to each new keycap and re-fitting the caps, I realised that the design of the low profile switch headers of my K-series keyboard are most likely not benefitting from the rings for impact noise reduction, even worse they might lift the cap a millimeter, which is defying the purpose of "Low Profile" switches. Nice to have the option though, I guess.

The product is really good. but the carrier is the worse I ever encountered. I honestly hope to never receive anbything with them anymore. PAACK is the carrier name.

Ich habe mir die O-Ringe für meine REIDEA KM06 bestellt und kann natürlich nur für diese Tastatur sprechen. Die Beleuchtung der Tastatur wird nicht beeinträchtigt. Um überhaupt einen Effekt zu erzielen musste ich 2-3 O-Ringe pro Taste verwenden, sie lassen sich gut einsetzen und auch wieder entfernen. Der Tastenanschlag ist wesentlich besser geworden aber die Lautstärke der Tasten hat sich nicht wirklich verändert, ich hatte mir mehr erhofft. Nervig ist, das verschiedene Tasten (nicht immer die selben Tasten) immer mal wieder weiter hervorstehen als sie sollten, die Finger gleiten dann nicht auf die Taste sondern dagegen ! Ich gebe dem noch ein bisschen Zeit um mich daran zu gewöhnen aber ich denke ich werde die O-Ringe wieder heraus nehmen. Zu wenig Effekt und das hervorstehen der Tasten ist schon ziemlich Nervig ! UPDADE Ich habe die O-Ring jetzt mal Spaßeshalber in meine WIRED 600 eingesetzt. Es war zwar etwas mühselig weil jeder Ring sauber auf der Membran sitzen muss aber bei dieser Tastatur Funktionieren Sie Wunderbar. Der Tastenanschlag ist noch leiser geworden und der Druckpunkt ist Perfekt. Mittlerweile habe ich die O-Ringe aus meiner REIDEA KM06 wieder entfernt. Ich hatte einfach keine Lust mehr mich Täglich erst einmal über die Tastatur her zu machen um die Tasten wieder in seine richtige Position zu bringen. Für die WIRED 600 wiederum, kann ich Sie bedenkenlos empfehlen. 08.10.2023 Ich habe mir eine neue Tastatur zugelegt (die Sharkoon PureWriter TKL RGB) und auch bei dieser Tastatur die O-Ringe eingesetzt. Der Druckpunkt ist fast wie bei einer Laptop Tastatur und sie ist um Welten leiser. Ich habe nun meine Rezension von 4 auf 5 Sterne erhöht ! Da können ja die O-Ringe nichts für, dass sie anscheinend nur bei der REIDEA nicht funktionieren.

Basım hissiyatını fazla etkilemiyor. Birazcık daha oturaklı ve tok bir basım hissiyatı sağlıyor ama dediğim gibi hissiyat olarak çok fazla etkilemiyor. Kutuda 2 tane klavye temizleme fırçası ve 2 adet tuş sökme aparatı var. Klavyemin Tuşlarını sökmek gerçekten çok uğraştırıcı ve zordu. Klavye sökme aparatları sayesinde tuşları anında kolayca çıkartıyorum. Kutuda 500 adet Conta var bu yüzden biter diye endişe etmeyin. Klavye sesinin hissedilir olarak azalması için 3 veya 4 tane üst üste takmanız gerekiyor. 1 veya 2 tane takarsanız sesi pek fazla azaltmayacaktır. Ben klavyemdeki çoğu tuşa 3 tane taktım. Klavyemdeki "F1 - F2..." gibi tuşlar birazcık daha uzun olduğu için bunlara 4 adet taktım. "Space, Shift, Enter" gibi tuşlar daha büyük ve 3 tane Conta sütununa sahipler, bu yüzden bu tip büyük tuşlara toplamda 3+2+2= 7 tane taktım. Tahminen 1 Klavye için en az 350 civarı conta kullandım.

Pour le prix, je trouve que ça reste un achat pertinent. Ça change peut-être l'expérience de frappe, je n'ai pas assez d'expérience sans les joints, mais au niveau sonore, ça fait quand même une petite différence appréciable. Et en bonus, deux petites brosses, ça peut toujours servir.
