Review: Seems better than suction - at least for daily use. - I’ve used the Navage for a couple of years. It seemed to me like it needed to be replaced. I originally was planning on getting another Navage because I thought the suction was the best way to go; I have chronic issues with the right up through my right ear. Honestly though it helped, and was better than those Sinuflo squeeze bottles, but it was very inconvenient, and it still left me wishing there was something better. I did some research and found the SinuPulse. I can’t speak for how well it does when my sinuses are really clogged, but it actually is significantly more effective than the Navage. Less post cleaning drips, more immediate airway clearing, much easier to use because you don’t have to wiggle it around and find the right position, and way easier to clean and maintain. I don’t know if the pulsing is really doing much (claims to stimulate movement in the sinus cavity) but I think the “pushing” of water through one nostril and out the other is actually seems to do better than the suction.
Review: Great nasal lavage! - Having used nedi pots for years, I was curious to try this device. I like the idea of a constant source of water pressure that was variable (two different settings.) What I didn't like? The idea of having to purchase brand specific saline mix packets for the 16 oz water reservoir. I had enough packets come with the package so I haven't tried subbing another brand like Neilmed so that may change this review, but.....who knows! So far it works great. I recommend warming the water past comfortable at first for the saline to completely dissolve when you stir it. My old method was to use a porcelain nedi pot with water at a higher temperature & rinse out my sinuses in the shower. Well...until it slipped from the shower ledge & shattered on the bathroom tile. Not fun. Change of plans as this is a plugged in device you need to use over the sink. I think it's messier since I now need to use a washcloth to blow my nose into as I go along. I also think I've exchanged heat for water pressure. Since the water reservoir is plastic it can't take as high of a heat as the porcelain. You may also need two rounds of the sinus rinse for particularly rough days. It's easy to clean but use distilled water in the cleaning process as well. (Yes, they say you can use boiled water but wouldn't you rather make sure it was completely sterile?) All in all, this was a great buy & it's supposedly FSA eligible. Just don't go straight to something like this until you've done a few nasal rinses with a non-powered rinse like Neilmed. Highly recommended for those who suffer chronic sinus issues.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works great for sinuses and mouth
*by B***R on October 25, 2020*

I got this because I had been battling a sinus infection for a couple of years. So many antibiotics (which make me sick and dizzy) have had little to no effect. Finally the infection got to the point that my ears were starting to feel like something was crawling in them 24/7. The Dr confirmed that it was fluid build up behind my ear drums caused by sinus inflammation. So I discussed options with him. We with with and optic antibiotic drop (yes the one you use for pink eye) and this machine. DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT CONSULTING YOUR DR PEOPLE. But we both agreed, if it's safe for my eyeball, it would be safe for my sinus cavity, and the pills weren't working. I put 2 drops in the tank and did a full flush on each side twice a day and within a week my ears were still. Within a month I noticed that I hadn't had a single sinus headache, which was a big change from having to take double doses of Advil and Tylenol along with pseudofedrine every 6 hrs just to survive the day. Now I see my kids snuffling and sneezing because it's allergy season again, but not me. I wish I could convince my family to try it, but the idea of washing inside your head bothers them. Then recently I began having some tooth pain, turns out it was an old cavity gone rogue killing the tooth, and it had to be extracted. Now I'm also using the water pick function to keep that area clean and also do the rest of my teeth while I'm at it. It's far more pleasant than I expected and works better than floss at getting some stuck particles. I still floss because water doesn't scrub the sides of your teeth, but both leaves my mouth feeling cleaner than flossing alone. I have had this for several months and haven't had any issues with it other than I wish there was a larger tank, but that's ok.
