The finish and build quality is superb .It came early from the seller and was very well packed upon unboxing it took me about 30 minutes to put together and set up it's been a long while since I bought a turntable so it I took my time to do the job right .I chose this turntable after much research everything is so well thought out from the way it is put together to the sound .The Ortofon 2m blue cartridge really digs deep and produces a really cohesive sound it Compered to my old Thorens TD 280 mk 2 the Fluance is so much better in both looks and sound quality. Everything you need is in the box from the easy to follow instructions to the bubble level to make sure your turntable is set up right . I am no audio file but I know good quality when I see it I wanted a good upgrade and this turntable dose not disappoint .it was well within my budget and I am very happy with my purchase .
