Review: Filtro Tidal Seachem - Ótimo Filtro. Pena que é muito caro os custos indiretos atrelados ao produto. Impostos e fretes e taxas.
Review: Good filter - Probably my favorite filter ive used as far as filtration goes, like it more than the aquaclear. Think it be best compatible with larger fish. The skimmer has taken in some of my baby crayfish. I tried covering it but it started making noise. Other than that its been super quiet. I Like the customizable basket. I like that its a full basket unlike the AC. Instalation is was easy. Like the self priming which the AC doesn't have. Wish it came with a pre filter sponge. My crayfish produce a lot of waste and the filter is able to keep up, even full of sludge it keeps working so id say its highly durable.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a 20 gal high. the product dimensions say 15 X 6 X 15. a 20 gal high is about 17 inches high so will this filter be too big?**
A: i think those are the box dimensions. the 55 measures 8 inches wide, 6 inches deep from the water output in the front to the back of the filter and even with the intake tube fully extended it measures 12 inches from bottom of intake tube to top of the glass where the filter sits. it can be adjusted a little shorter still.

its a great filter and doubling up on filter size is always a good idea. the tidal series does have a very functional water flow adjustment, unlike its main competitor the aquaclear 50. the aquaclear boasts flow control, but there is only a marginal difference when adjusted.

the tidals flow control will adjust from wide open to a pretty low flow.

the only situation i think this wouldnt be the best choice for a 20 gallon is if you intend to house very weak swimmers like betta fish. for just about any other stock i would recommend this filter with no hesitation.

ive had mine for nearly two years since it first came to market and its worked flawlessly. nice and quiet, very functional.

**Q: what kind of filter media is included with this filter? Is there room for various types?**
A: it comes with a course foam fiter in the bottom of the basket and a mesh bag of the seachem matrix. seachem's "matrix" is one of , if not the best reusable filter medias. yes, there is still some room left in the basket for additional media should you need it.

**Q: Bottom blue wheel should it be open or closed?**
A: It is an adjustment for the skimmer located near the top. You can adjust the flow with it. I keep mine open half way.

**Q: How many gph is it rated for?**
A: 250 gph
