This oil is amazing for my skin. It gives softness, radiance, and comfort without any grease or breakouts. I've tried other argan oils but so many are watered down, or diluted with cheap ingredients, they're just junk. I know Josie Maran's argan oil is 100% pure, highest quality oil. It has no scent, and it's surprisingly lightweight. Since I need only several drops to moisturize my whole body (seriously!), I feel this is an excellent buy. You might find cheaper argan oil, but it may be from low quality fruit or fruit from genetically reproduced trees (which are fantastic, of course, but they may not even be in Morocco. The genetically modified and reproduced argan forests, if grown away from the traditional argan location in the Atlas Mountains, take much profit away from the companies that farm and harvest the trees in their endemic location. REAL Argan Oil is ALWAYS produced in Morocco. There are businsses making huge profits on what they claim is argan oil, but so many have been found to have added sunflower and or olive oil, diluting the argan oil. Argan oil is the most expensive oil in the world. Real argan oil costs $300 USD per liter. So if you're finding "real" 100% undiluted argan oil for cheap prices, you might want to check it out very thoroughly before you use it. There are claims that even Ecocert certification passes diluted, impure argan oil. Yes, it may be 100% organic, but is it 100% pure, unadulterated argan oil? It can be organic sunflower or olive oil too. Argan oil for skin has no added fragrance, so if your product has a perfumey fragrance, right there you know it's not "pure". The argan tree take 14 years to bear fruit, which its oil is so precious and rare. The Moroccan Women's co-ops that work with Maran's company are dedicated to responsible harvesting practices and reforestation projects, which - along with environmental protection policies – keep Argan forests and women's jobs safe. I'm sticking with Josie's because of the stringest testing and requrements. She's staked her company on the authenticity and effectiveness of argan oil, so I feel confident I'm getting high quality, organically grown, chemical free, pure oil.

I LOVE this product. I got a sample of it at Sephora and didn't use it for some time. I was a bit hesitant to put oil on my often oily skin; it seemed counter-intuitive. It also seemed a bit expensive. But, after reading reviews of the product online and reading about Argan oil's general skin benefits, I gave it a shot and was completely amazed. I can't live without this product now! You only need a few drops--the product comes with a medicine-dropper applicator--to make your skin soft, smooth and radiant. I put it on every night before I go to bed after washing my face. When I wake up, my skin is more vibrant, looks smoother, and any redness or spots I might have had diminishes significantly. And it doesn't really have a scent, either, which I like; I'm not a fan of perfumed skincare. I don't have acne prone skin anymore in my mid-twenties, but I am beginning to get some wrinkles. Somehow this oil seems to fill in those wrinkles around my eyes--I notice this when I apply my makeup in the morning after using the oil. Amazing! It's like magic! I've been using this every night for two months and have only used up a third of the bottle, so I can see this lasting 6+ months if used daily. Definitely give this product a try, and you won't be disappointed.

I actually received a sample of the Josie Maran Argan Oil and loved it so much I went out and purchased the full size product from Amazon.com. At first I was exceedingly skeptical about using argan oil because I have naturally oily, acne prone combination skin, and I speculated that this product would just make the situation worse. But I am happy to report, that was not the case! This argan oil has actually helped reduce the frequency of my breakouts and keep my natural face oils at bay! The argan oil itself is not greasy or sticky - in fact it absorbs completely in to the skin in minutes, leaving your face feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized. I now use this argan oil everyday! In the morning, I gently pat the argan oil onto my face, allow it to absorb into the skin, and follow that up with my favorite moisturizer. Works like a dream! At night, I apply the argan oil to any remaining dry patches of skin and also to any areas where my skin is starting to breakout. The argan oil actually nourishes my skin overnight, so when I wake up in the morning, areas of inflammation are dramatically reduced and my skin feels renewed! Now, keep in mind - a little bit of this product goes quite a long way, one or two drops is really all you need for your entire face. If you, like me, struggle daily with oily, acne prone skin, I sincerely urge you to give Josie Maran Argan Oil a try!
