Its leaf-shaped blade offers versatile cutting and piercing capabilities, paired with a durable G10 handle and a MOLLE-compatible hybrid fiberglass sheath for secure, multi-position carry. Engineered for survival and tactical use, this sword combines ancient Roman inspiration with modern materials and craftsmanship, making it a flagship weapon in the APOC series. ## Description A. P. O. C Tactical Wasteland Gladius designed by Gus Trim Like the Roman soldiers of ancient times exploring the unknown reaches you may find yourself at the end of time on expedition to an abysmal, undiscovered country. Like them the only means of survival may be your wits and the blade in your hand. In homage of those brave centurions (past and future) CAS gives you the A. P. O. C. Wasteland Gladius in the continuation of our A. P. O. C. Series of weapons. Containing all the expected features of the swords in the series, our Wasteland Gladius design arises from the larger gladius designs featuring a pronounced “wasp-waist” or “leaf blade” curvature. Along the 21 3/8” blade edge it gives you different angles for different tasks needed on the desolate wastes. The blade flares out from 1 3/8” to 2” creating a brutal chopping cutter and a powerful piercing point or whichever you need. The pommel of the handle doubles as skull cracker, glass breaker for whatever needs bashing or breaking. The 9 ½” handle allows for easy single-hand or two-hand sword use making the Wasteland Gladius probably the most versatile swords in the series. The black textured fiberglass sheaths are fitted to a Mole compatible kidded platform that allows you to secure your swords to belt or pack in multiple carry positions. For belt or sling carry setups the platform has four slots 1 3/8" long and 1/8" wide. A notch in the handle and the platform allows for stealth unsheathing as well as locking the sword securely for inverted maneuvers. No preparations for the end times are complete without an A. P. O. C. tactical sword for when the bullets run out, the knives are too short and your life is on the line. It makes a great home defense weapon. Too bad my C&C license doesn't cover this. Review: Flagship of the APOC line! - I own all of the APOC swords and I consider the Wasteland Gladius and the Katana their flagship swords. This thing is a beast! The bulkiest of the APOC swords, it's the wrecking ball of the line up. The Kydex sheath is good quality and locks firmly in place but not so much so that you can't easily draw the sword. Definitely worth the money! ## Features - Made in the USA or Imported - Full Tang 9260 Spring Steel Blade - Kayden / Fiberglass Hybrid Sheath - Designed by Sword Maker Angus Trim - 9260 High Carbon Steel ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07PRYP115 | | Best Sellers Rank | #272,852 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #348 in Martial Arts Swords | | Blade Length | 21.38 inches | | Blade Material | High Carbon Steel | | Blade Material Type | High Carbon Steel | | Brand | APOC | | Brand Name | APOC | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 105 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00615642030935 | | Hand Orientation | Right | | Handle Material | Fiberglass | | Included Components | Kydex / Fiberglass Scabbard, Tactical Sword | | Item Dimensions L x W | 33"L x 4"W | | Item Type Name | Tactical Sword | | Item Weight | 2 pounds | | Manufacturer | CAS HANWEI | | Manufacturer Part Number | SD35570-Black-Regular | | Model Number | SD35570 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Style | Wasteland Gladius Sd35570 | | Style | Wasteland Gladius Sd35570 | | UPC | 615642030935 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty | ## Product Details - **Blade Length:** 21.38 Inches - **Blade Material:** High Carbon Steel - **Brand:** APOC - **Handle Material:** Fiberglass - **Style:** Wasteland Gladius Sd35570 ## Images ![Wasteland Gladius Sword SD35570 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71F0tnq7KyL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There can be only one... and this is it. *by S***E on February 7, 2021* This is a solid blade and very sharp. It makes a great home defense weapon. Too bad my C&C license doesn't cover this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flagship of the APOC line! *by A***R on March 20, 2022* I own all of the APOC swords and I consider the Wasteland Gladius and the Katana their flagship swords. This thing is a beast! The bulkiest of the APOC swords, it's the wrecking ball of the line up. The Kydex sheath is good quality and locks firmly in place but not so much so that you can't easily draw the sword. Definitely worth the money! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy, well made, durable. *by A***R on April 28, 2021* Very heavy - probably 3/4 lb. heavier then it might be. Of course, the grip is long enough for both hands, so that's probably a good bit of the extra weight. All function, nothing pretty about it other than blade shape. Center of balance about 2.5" in front of the "hilt". The hilt won't really provide any protection for the hands. Sharpening was uneven out of box. I like it. Great steel! ## Frequently Bought Together - APOC Wasteland Gladius Sword SD35570 - APOC Survival Broad Sword, Black - APOC Survival Katana, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/155972615-wasteland-gladius-sword-sd35570](https://www.desertcart.no/products/155972615-wasteland-gladius-sword-sd35570) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
