The material is soft, thick, stretchy and fully lined. The straps are adjustable via slide. The suit emphasizes a sporty look with a zipper and active pocket. I am a size 8 but purchased a 10. The 10 feels very comfortable- not loose but not tight. I think the 8 would feel good as well because of the smartly engineered material (stretches four ways). The cut and print hides my holiday handles nicely. The removable bra cup is thin and attractive in position, size and shape. Cons The stitching of the side pleats is not good - wavy lines and an uneven stitch - but this said I add that it is not at all noticeable to the onlooker. The gold zipper is attractive with the exception of the location which is at the origination of the pleats/left front; not on the side as it appears in the photo. This detail seems to have been provided to allow for the carry of credit cards & such. I personally feel the typically compelling story of a zipper is lost and blame the poor decision of the designer. All these cons aside I like this suit and will enjoy wearing it. It arrived in a soft pack, within the pack was a large plastic bag that contained the suit - new with tags.
