For those using w/vtg percolators, what do you do w/the excess when it’s too big? My basket is 3”.

Not sure what is the correct answer based your question, but you purchase a filter that is consistent with the diameter of the basket that catch the grinds that is then consistent with the diameter of the coffee processor and the amount of coffee/water that can be used for the processor. If basket and the processor are 3 inch, the filter has to be 3 inch .

Made in China. They are pretty thin and apparently made of crimped stainless mesh. (I use two together and they work just fine). They are shipped in a clear plastic envelope. Put those not being used someplace where you will remember. I had forgotten where I put them and had to go on a hunt to find them.
