STOTT PILATES Flex-Band

Purports to be 'regular-strength' pilates flex band. Was exceptionally thin, very little resistance. I have had 'medium' strength bands previously, and this one does not come anywhere near close. Might suffice for 90-year olds. Don't waste your money.

I bought these to work out my laughably flat feet after seeing a ballerina video through Live Strong. They work. . . Oh man do they work and my feet hate me for it. Nice stretch, they hold onto the foot, and my arches are screaming in agony. Would recommend.

I had purchased these in the past and they were fine. This time, they smelled really bad, and I ended up returning them. Maybe they changed to a different supplier? In any case, I recommend looking for a different source if you are chemically sensitive or just bothered by strong chemical smells.

This Flex BAND is the real deal. It offers great resistance. I love that it gets the job done and it comes at a great price. I purchase several resistance levels. I still own it which proves that it is long lasting. I bought it to use it with the Chalean videos.I hope you found the review helpful.

I bought this because I needed something for rotator cuff exercises and wasn't sure where or what this stuff was called or where to buy it. There may be something better for rotator cuff, but for the purpose of the exercises, it is working well for me. There's plenty of length and the resistance is enough (if you need more, just double it up on itself). Nice that it packs flat and is good for travel compared to non-tape type bands.

Works well.

Good

This does exactly what you want it to. I'm always scared it will rip or tear, but it never does. Just keeps on stretching through all my workouts and I put it to work everyday. Great price, arrived very quickly.

Bought for Pilates, floor exercises and injury recovery. Purchased 'blue' as advised by my physiotherapist, but mildly disappointed that if feels far, far softer (less resistant) than the one I have used at clinic. I am pleased that this band is a decent length (greater range of exercises possible than with the short bands), but I will seek another very soon with even greater resistance - this one certainly doesn't feel 'Extra Strong'. I had understood that the colour codes of these bands indicated a specific resistance ... Must research this further!

What a disappointment. It feels really does feel like balloon material. It is without doubt, too light to use as exercise accessory. I wrapped this around my hand to shorten it so I could use it to exercise my arms, legs, etc. It is not suitable for this as it is too soft, light and hardly any resistance in the material. It really does feel like balloon material that has been cut into one long strip. It felt like the band was being stretched rather than creating the resistance to exercise muscles. Can't be bothered to return it. What a rip off and waste of money and I cannot believe the other 'positive' reviews! Disappointed!

It's Stott, so you already know it's a good product. Been using this for the past few months and no signs of wear and tear

We bought both the green and the blue bands to help my 12 year old son do exercises post injury. Blue band split in 2 on second time of using. This is obviously a product fault as has happened to several other buyers. Very disappointing! Suggest buy elsewhere.

Stupidly I didn't check what it was made of and can't bear to use it as it reeks of rubber and makes me want to gag 😩 my fault but disappointedThe product itself is fine if you like the odour of balloons buy it!

Very good quality bands great price too

functions well

finally some stretch bands that are long enough to do beachbody with

Has enough tension, which I was worried about, after reading other reviews & the length is just right. Really glad I bought this item & would recommend.

Go to Pilates quite often and find this band nice and strong .there is nothing worse than to have your band snapping during a session.Worth putting some talc on to stop it sticking.

This is a good buy and recommended. It's not expensive either. Will be buying the next strength up from the same brand.

Bought x4 of these bands a few weeks back for small group Pilates classes. One snapped in half last week with one of my elderly clients. Very disappointed as thought I had bought the best on the market.

very weak , i hardly used it and it has already snapped.

Much thinner than I thought it would be, and I'm not sute I'd overly recommend it, but it does what it needs to.

After 3 uses it snapped. I'm a medium build 51 year old and so have very normal strength. Continued to use the longer part that was left but on 5th use that also snapped. For £6 can't be bothered to seek replacement. Don't waste your money - go elsewhere.
